Don't waste your time...no professionalism, total lack of regard for patient's needs or concerns. If you get to see the doctor more than once consider yourself lucky...the majority of the time you get his nurse, Sam. They try to see entirely too many patients to be effective. They are everything you DON'T want in a doctor or nurse.

He didn't even read my chart before coming in the room and telling me I could have another CT scan on an 8mm ground glass nodule (which is now 9mm)in a year. When I questioned him he left the room to talk to someone else, came back and said he was so sorry but that there was a hot spot on my PET scan. I have left him a message asking why he can't biopsy the nodule a couple of weeks ago. I just left another message with his office telling the poor girl who was unfortunate enough to answer the phone that I was upset and I want an answer. And, if I'm not happy with the answer I will be going for a second opinion. Not happy with this guy at all.

Worst experience ever! I drove from Nashville to get some answers with my mom. She's had several pleural effusions and were referred here for a lung biopsy and possible talc procedure. Her appt was at 10:30 and we arrived early to do the necessary paperwork. We were called back at 11:50. Well, dr. Robbins walked in announcing that he had to give a lecture at 12. He proceeded to ask my mom what she wanted to do about her problem. When she said some of her symptoms using medical terms he very arrogantly said "are you in the medical field or just on the Internet?" Ummm, yes Dr. Robbins my mother was a RN/head nurse for 40 years. Then he proceeded to tell us a story about a patient who requested an epidural because the Internet. Thus wasting the rest of the 2 minutes he had for us. He got up without saying a word and left the room. When the staff was trying to leave for lunch and noticed us still in the room, they said he had left and would not be back! FIND ANOTHER DR!
