Someone should report this doctor-since she loves theatrics and was abusive verbally. If you go along with her God complex all is well. One can not question anything-or risk-a theatrical bow out. Unprofessional. Karma will have its way.

i have had dr matthews for years now, she always makes me so comfortable and never have a problem seeing her majority of the time. im currently doing the perinatal program that she runs through CMHA and highly reccomend if you are pregnant or post partum struggling with mental health.

During a lengthy consultative assessment, Dr. Mathew listened without judgment, answered my questions with genuine compassion and good information, offered referrals to therapy options, and set realistic expectations for her role in followup care.

I have seen her in the hospital and out of hospital and she was not good. Told me I would only amount to cleaning bathrooms in McDonalds. Shattered my dream and told me I can not handle any time of job. This caused me to stop trying to pursue my dream job and to only get the "minimum wage" jobs. She has even told my mom that I want to be a victim and I am always blaming others for my issues, which was not right. So I am not pleased with her and I have heard from several other people she treated them the same way. Her and her husband.

I first say Dr.Matthew at the hospital in crisis .This women is very professional and knowledgeable. I went from being angrey and short tempered , depressed and violent . with her help I'm coping every day with a new outlook . I truly believe that her help has saved my life.
Every Dr. is subjected to public scrutiny and will have good and bad reviews .
Thank you for your left Dr. ! You've been a gamechanger .

She is constantly late for our virtual appointments. Then when I missed one she cancelled all my virtual follow ups and changed them to in person only visits. She also refused to refill my essential psychiatric medication because of this missed appointment and I was unable to see her for a month. I was then left without medication because no other doctor could refill them and she refused to do a renewal. I went through extreme medication withdrawals and was left suicidal as a result. She doesn't care about her patients, she cares about making money off visits.

A family member of mine was yelled at and dropped by this 'professional' She is going through an extremely difficult time - tried with all her might to cancel the appointment due to a valid medical reason and in turn got dropped. Don't work in the medical field if you dont have a shred of compassion for complex situations. This disgusted me to hear - especially after the long wait list to be seen.

I went from a severe depression to a life I can't be happier with thanks to Dr. Mathew. I have been in her care for 9 years and have not had an episode for 6 years. I am grateful for her patience and understanding. She is very professional and a no nonsense person. Follow her instructions and you will not have any problems. She's a gem.
