Everything around the surgery was great - the staff, the hospital. Immediately after surgery, I was given cream for a burn - which I thought was strange for an incision. I was also told the 'burn' through my skin would heal without scar. In hindsight, the scar is worse than if the incision had been directly in the area of removal.

I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for my appointment. The consultation went fine and my surgery was scheduled for a Monday. The Friday before the surgery, I received a call from her office saying that because I had two areas biopsied, there was confusion over which area was to be removed. The radiologist was on vacation so the surgery had to be cancelled. I don't understand how during the consultation, Dr. Freedman was able to tell me the location and size on the area to be removed without the assistance of the radiologist but the day before the surgery, there was confusion. Adding the above, to other mis-scheduled appointments and other confusion by her office, I did not feel confident in her ability or the ability of her office to get this surgery scheduled without a lot of stress so I chose to go to another surgeon.
