Biography

Dr. Cardozo earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor after majoring in molecular, cellular and developmental biology at Yale. She was a resident at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, and a fellow at Harvard Medical School’s Massachusetts General Hospital. She joined Women & Infants' Fertility Center in 2016. Dr. Cardozo’s areas of research interest include fertility preservation and the impact of obesity on reproductive outcomes. Dr. Cardozo is an active member of a number of fertility and reproductive health societies including the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the New England Fertility Society, and the Society for Reproductive Investigation. She serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics. She’s also an active member of the Team Fox Young Professionals of Boston at the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
