Dr is in Venice Fl office now. You never get the same hygienist. Office staff is confused. I went in for a crown and came out looking like a monster. Terribly bruised! Never had that happened before. Doctor didn't even seem to care.

Dr.Griffiths is a wonderful dentist! He is gentle, honest, and genuinely shows concern for his patients. I found out during my last visit the morning of that he was not longer with the practice and can say that I am horribly disappointed with his replacement. I will definitely be finding a new dental office!

I was informed by the office that Dr Griffiths has left the office. I was extremely disappointed as have tried the other dentists in the office... not recommended! Dr Griffiths has done excellent work on myself and family with extreme care and concern. I am extremely disappointed in his leaving and will be looking for a new office.

I loved Dr. Griffiths my husband finally had a dentist he liked . He was so nice and never hurt me my mouth is very sensitive my crowns never fell off and I never had any issues I hope his replacement is good or I will be finding a new dentist! It sucks!

I loved Dr. Griffiths and just found out he has left town unexpectedly. I'm SOOOOOOO disappointed. After seeing one of his associates in the same office who told me I needed a ton of dental work I went to Dr. Griffiths and he said I absolutely did not. I knew the other guy was full of it because I have religiously had my teeth cleaned every six months since I was a child! There was no way I needed that much work in six months! Now I have to find a new dentist. I have asked for referrals from friends and am praying I can find another dentist I trust. Delta Dental does NOT have the greatest list of providers in this town but luckily I'm on the plan that they pay 80% no matter if it's in network or not. Fingers crossed! I was told Dr. Griffiths went to Tampa.....hope I don't have to drive to Tampa every six months to be with a dentist I trust!

Pretty sure the other reviews were written by the dentist himself because Dr. Ty Griffiths is HORRIBLE. He convinced me to get a lot of expensive dental work done that I didn't need, and so many things have gone wrong since I got it all done that I am regretting not finding a better, more reputable dentist first, and doing a TON more research about what all of it entailed, and how important it is to have an experienced, caring dentist. He did several crowns that have fallen out again and again since I got them put in- I've never even heard of this happening before. My biggest fear the whole time was that he shaved my teeth down way, way too much that first day-- something that is IRREVERSIBLE once it's done. He gave me a huge attitude when I tentatively asked if that's why the temps fell off the first night I had them in. Then when they put in the permanent crowns, boom, one month later one falls out. A couple months later another one fell out. I cried myself to sleep every night realizing I had made a huge mistake. He ruined my mouth-- there was nothing wrong with my teeth to begin with other than the fact that two of them were a little chipped from grinding. I went to another dentist and had to pay $200 to get one crown re-cemented, and that dentist told me the tooth beneath way shaved down to NOTHING and had clearly been over prepped by Dr. Griffiths which is why they are probably going to keep falling out. I don't even know what to do, I just hope this review at the very least advises someone else to avoid this dentist like the plague!!!!!!

I was just called by the dentist's office. I thought it was a reminder about my appointment with Dr Griffiths tomorrow. Instead I was told he resigned yesterday and left town! I'm shocked and very disappointed.

This company gets a lot of business from state employees and do their best to spend as much time with every client as possible. I, personally, haven't had one issue with scheduling, and I've had 5 appointments in less than a year. I hadn't been to the dentist in over ten years due to financial reasons. I'm 25 now, and my gums were in horrible shape. This office has done a superb job in explaining the details, executing their treatment plans, and providing overall excellent service to me.

Dr. Griffiths is a very nice guy, judging from the interactions I've had with him. When I had to have numbing injections into my gums for scaling and root planing, he was the guy to do it. He made the process quick and virtually painless.

One of his hygienists, Kelly (sweet southern woman), has been an angel. Seriously, don't get me started on this woman. From the moment she took me back for the first time, to my now 5th visit in the last year, she's been helpful, genuine, gentle, understanding, and goes above and beyond for her patients. She truly wants to see each of her patients leaving with a greatly improved smile, and a happier smile at that. She is a true gem to this office, and I wouldn't want to see anyone else, not to say the others aren't just as great, she's simply been there every step of the way for me, and I really appreciate the work she does. That being said, she only works limited hours a week, so the waiting time for her is a bit steeper, but she does everything she can to fit people in.

The front desk is nearly always swamped, but they've done a great job getting me in and out, verifying the correct codes to be charged for insurance purposes, and have responded to every question I've had.

I truly am grateful to have found this office, and actually look forward to each of my visits with Kelly and Dr. Griffiths.

After 2 years at Coast dental, this place is a breath of fresh air. Professional, organized, friendly, caring staff and dentist.

I have never written a review before, but I really enjoyed my visit to TCG Dental Specialists yesterday. Well, it was a little difficult getting in contact with the office, but once I did I have nothing but kind words for them. I cannot remember the name of the dental hygienist, but she was very warm and listened to what my issue was, and even gave some advice about the medication I had been given. Dr. Griffiths was so personable, friendly, and helpful. I had an emergency dental issue and refused to go to my regular dentist, since he wasn't very helpful in the past. As a new patient Dr. Griffiths was so nice and referred me to a specialist and even insisted I return for my regular checkups. I cannot wait to see him again and I hope yesterday was the beginning of a long doctor/patient relationship. Thank you so much Dr. Griffiths and staff!!
