Dr Biber diagnosed a condition which caused much suffering for several years, for which I am grateful. However, a visit to his office required blocking off at least two hours to account for waiting, and then listening to him tell you random irrelevant stories for up to an hour while he may give you useful healthcare info in between. He does not keep records very well and each visit he asks you the same questions about your history and current medications, as though he can't remember or didn't note these things previously. He put me on a medication that he was unsure of how to wean me off of, and upon contacting the pharmaceutical company, refused to provide them with info they asked for to answer his questions, instead insisting that they simply answer his questions immediately. His secretary is sweet but she is leaving the practice. Breaking up with Dr Biber was hard but I am sure a second opinion is what's best for me.

This doctor is a grade a quack. I went to see him for a complaint of low back pain and non-surgical management. He started asking me about snoring, and wanted to call my wife in the midst of the interview to verify my answer...I quickly stopped that. He wanted to have me take a sleep apnea study which i refused, and wanted to give me a pill to lose weight that was primarily for seizure and migraine symptoms. I refused, and he was angry, even after I told him my primary care physician told me to avoid such treatment. He then said "well your doctor is too conservative". I walked out and said i would not return.
I learned that, without my consent or disclosure, he affixed a diagnosis to the hospital medical record of where I have been a patient, and he is on staff, of anxiety. He never informed me he was doing this nor did he ever disclose such a diagnosis to my primary care doctor or me.
As of this writing I am seeking to have the "mythical" diagnosis expunged from the hospital chart as i told him I wouldn't be returning to see him, did not approach him w/ a psychosomatic complaint and he never divulged his behavior to me when I summarily told him the doctor-patient relationship was concluded. Complaints were filed w/ the hospital and most likely will be taken up with the Board of Medicine.

After suffering from momentary memory loss & epileptic symptoms, I was referred to Dr. Biber. He asked that I come in immediately as he was very busy but could "squeeze" me in. From the moment I walked through the door, he rushed me to sit down & discuss what seemed like completely irrelevant aspects of my personal life & family relationships, etc. He asked me what my main concern was, which I then stated "I've been having brief episodes of amnesia". He abruptly stopped me & asked that I never use medical terms with him, ever. I told him I didn't know how else to describe it. He seemed aggravated with me. I said that I am forgetting things such as where I am & what I am doing. He asked me what my guess was & I said "epilepsy". He quickly responded with "Nope." He asked if there was a history of epilepsy in my family. I told him my Father had it his whole life & eventually he died of it. I also mentioned that my half-sister (same Father) has grand mal seizures weekly. He asked how many siblings I had, & when I told him that I had 3 half siblings & one full sibling, all with the same Father, he made a comment "Well, I'm getting confused with all the siblings, obviously your father had too many children." I told him that was irrelevant & he stearnly said to me "Look, if you won't work with me then I won't help you." He asked me if I had any other medical issues & when I asked him what he meant he replied with "Well, you're overweight, that's for sure!" I said "Well, yeah..." & he said "Is this important to you? Do you want to lose weight?" I said "Yes, but I've been stressed & have not tried to lose weight." But after I said that, I realized that he was completely inappropriate through out the entire meeting & I could not stand to spend another second in his office. I grabbed my purse & said "I'm sorry but I have to go, I don't feel comfortable & I feel you're being incredible rude." He said "Okay, you're rude." & that was it. I left his office in tears. I am having a medical emergency & not once did he ask me to explain my symptoms & to top it off he makes the decision that I'm "overweight" just by looking at me?!?! He is completely & utterly unprofessional & I do not recommend anyone to see him. Side note: as I entered his office, a patient was leaving. She said to me "Dr. Biber is great with Wikipedia." I should have taken that as a cue to get out as fast as I could. I rate this man & his practice a big fat ZERO!

Dr. Biber is a great doctor who takes his time to find out what it really is that is making you ill. That is what I liked about him he digs deep into you instead of just brushing you off like a lot of other Drs. He is also one very nice person to know. He has treated me with great respect, also gets other doctors on the phone while you are there to discuss your case or he gets reports immediately. Each time i call or go there his secretary is always helpful and polite. I would not hesitate to recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Biber is an extremely caring and knowledgeable doctor. He helped me resolve a long-standing medical issue that several other doctors had failed to help me with. He tends to run late but he is well worth the wait. He is also funny!

Dr Biber rocks. He spends as much time with you and your case as you need. He is very conservative, so he won't advise you to seek surgery unless it is a last resort... and he won't put you on addicting medications. He likes strange cases and thinking outside the box. You want to see him if you have a problem that other doctors have been unable to help you with.

I have a series of neurological problems that remained untreated for a few years. Prior to Dr. Biber, I saw several neurologists who did not do a good a job with my diagnoses and treatments. Dr. Biber is much better. He listens, he thinks and he comes up with the right solutions. Yes, he takes time to spend with a patient and may run late because of it, but he is worth the wait.

Yes, he does get behind and you should definitely call ahead before coming in. However, he has never been rude to me. He is very nice and has treated my issues effectively.

Worst experience with a doctor. He was rude, not helpful, and basically called me a liar when describeing my symptoms. He didnt even talk about my back injury I went there for, instead he talked about other medications he could give me for medical problems I didnt even have. I would never refer him to anyone!
