DO NOT USE DR. BROOKS AT ORTHO GA!! Went in for assessment, completed MRI and other scans, his medical assistant was rude, his nurse practitioner was not knowledgeable at all. He spent all of about 2 minutes looking at my scans, looked me over and said you need lumbar fusion…ok well let’s set it up. Go to have surgery at Navicent, everyone there is rude, go into have surgery and they are unable to perform surgery yet cause irreversible damage to another part of my body!! Unable to go into detail for legal reasons but do not use Dr. Brooks!

had 3 lumbar disc replaced. Dr. Brooks is superpilous and took the fear of a neurosurgeon away. Dr Brooks is a skilled doctor and a year later I am pain free. Dr. Brooks couldn't make me 20 again but Dr Brooks makes 70 or my age much much better.

Dr Brooks performed back surgery on my dad after telling him that he could easily fix his problems and he would be good as new. After the surgery, my dad's follow up visit was a nightmare. When asked how he felt, my dad told him he felt no different after the surgery. Brooks informed him in a very rude tone, that results didn't happen in a "minute" . Another follow up was scheduled and he told my dad, who was still no better, that there was nothing else he could do. He lied about his "confident" ability and my elderly dad is in worse shape now than before. He was quite rude and unkind, YELLING at my dad for no reason. I do not recommend Brooks to any one based on this experience and another experience I had personally. He wants to do surgery, period! Please do not use him for any procedures.

I read a couple of ratings that was not favorable and can not agree with either. First the workers comp review he handled my case very thorough got MRI reviewed it with me and made his recommendation. Secondly the office was clean and the staff was pleasant. I am scheduled for surgery so I will follow-up with an additional comment after the surgery

Dr. Brooks has done ACDF on me twice. He is a very nice doctor very professional. I could not have asked for a better surgeon. He is knowledgable concerned answered all my questions took up a lot of time with me. He is such a sweet man. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I love Dr Brooks and would only see hi. His staff PA NP all are very kind. They make sure you are comfortable. I'm recovering now from a second ACDF and I am very pleased.

Dr. Brooks performed a laminectomy on the herniated discs in my back. I was very pleased with my treatment, recovery and results, and am now able to do all the things I enjoy again. I was nervous about having back surgery, but he thoroughly explained the procedure and exactly what to expect afterwards. His staff was also very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend Dr. Brooks to anyone suffering with back pain.

I am so very pleased to have become Dr. Brooks' patient! I received outstanding service from the staff and Dr. Brooks. Dr. Brooks and his staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and they were more than willing to go that extra mile to ensure I understood my condition and the steps I needed to take toward getting better. As it turned out, I needed to have surgery to correct my condition. After the surgery, and throughout my recovery period, Dr. Brooks and his staff were only a phone call away. I am feeling better now, than I've felt in the last ten (10) years. I thank God for Dr. Brooks, Physician Assistant Jeanie Foote, Nurses Christy, Melissa, Candice, Jeanne, and staff Debbie, Darla, and Brandi.

I was treated in much the same manner as a few others have reported. I have changed insurance providers and am so glad that I no longer have to see him, quite possibly the rudest and non compassionate Doctor I have ever seen!

I had suffered from neck pains and associated nerve numbness for over a decade. We saw multiple doctors, but none were clear on their diagnosis nor did they put me at ease. Dr. Brooks explained my diagnosis in a calm, easy to understand way without making me feel stupid. His professional manner placed my husband and I at ease instantly pre and post surgery. I would do it all over again trusting my fate to Dr. Brooks and highly recommend him to anyone who wants to feel better - God bless him!
