I highly recommend Dr William Brooks. He was extremely professional and personable and spent a great deal of time talking with me about my back problem. He suggested that I try physical therapy first to alleviate my pain. I am feeling much better. Thank you, Dr. Brooks!

I love this surgeon!! I had a severe problem that was treated perfectly by Dr. Brooks. I love his straight-foward,no-nonsense manner. I would highly recommend him to anyone

Very rude doesn't have any compassion for his patients,got told I needed to lose at least 50 pounds My weight is 154 , I have disk out in my neck due to a terrible car accident also have damaged my right shoulder impinged nerves in neck and shoulder and got told that I was not a good candidate for the the surgery that another Dr suggested in his practice yelled at me for asking for a way to get relief and was told that I was a dr shopper ,the only dr I have seen are the ones they sent me to! Even suggested that I was a drug addict, I have never took no more than what was prescribed to me no more ! I have never been so humiliated in my life, after being told that he was wasting his time on me when he could make more with people with better insurance,please don't make the same mistake I made with this dr, btw his PA is Christy and I could tell her embarrassed for me , I thought all Drs took oaths to first do no harm , Shame on you Dr. Brooks!!!

Only concerned with doing surgery. After I had my surgery and was having problems again, he simply dismissed me and even wrote in my notes that my pain level appeared overstated. I have since sought treatment with a neurologist. Do not recommend Dr. William W. Brooks.

Dr. William Brooks seemed to be in a hurry at all 3 of my appointments with him. Not only does he have bad bedside manner but he makes you feel unimportant! His first diagnostic decision after looking at my MRI was surgery. I am very young and neck surgery is my last resort. I asked him if there was anything else we could do to see if it would help but his answer was that it would make it worst and that I needed surgery right away!! After this appointment I went home and cried. Went to Emory to get a second opinion and that doctor said that there was a good chance I would heal without surgery. He gave me other options to try like epidural injections, collar to wear at night, physical therapy, and a anti inflammatory drug! After a couple of months of this, I feel much better! The nerve pain is almost gone and I'm thankful I didn't listen to Dr. Brooks! My moral to this story is that you should try a less invasive approach before jumping into surgery!

Dr. BROOKS WAS NOT AN OVERLY FRIENDLY DOCTOR. NOT MUCH OF A PERSONALITY.NOT SURE IF I WILL GO BACK. BEDSIDE MANNER GOES A LONG WAY WITH ME.
