I have searched for years for the help that I needed. Most Therapist tell you what you want to hear or dole out sympathy but will not tell you the truth. Dr Sherbourne is not like that. He guides you to figure things out for yourself by asking important questions and giving answers that really do make a difference. I am happy now after years of searching for peace of mind. I understand my past now and look forward to my future. All my relationships have improved. He is simply the best in the business!

Boyd Sherbourne has been a great therapist for me. By utilizing his well-honed skills with EMDR and other therapeutic techniques, he helped me reduce the impact of past traumas and learn to generate more productive, empowering thoughts in my daily life. His kindness and empathy also made it safe for me to share openly. My past trauma triggers are either gone now or significantly reduced. And I'm now able to work more effectively with situations or people that were challenging for me in the past. I'm tremendously grateful for his help.

. This was my first time seeing Boyd Sherbourne I was referred by a friend.
I had scheduled a appointment with him personally and discussed my insurance coverage.
Upon arriving for my appointment no one came out to reception area. All of a sudden I hear a door squeak open in the back ground and a raised voice stating " Come back now" Upon entering a room I'm handed a form to fill out. While filling out his form I took a minute to read what I was about to sign. I could feel and hear his agitation. He asked for my insurance card. I gave him the card I've used at all my appointments with other medical providers with no problems. He then stood up and stated this is not the correct card. it shouldn't have a Social Security Number on it. My Insurance card does not have my S.S. number on it. By this point he's becoming very aggressive like and starting to raise his voice..He then asked for my debt card . I tried to explained that if he was uncomfortable or felt duped with my insurance that I should reschedule. .Well that statement really set him off. He then really pressed me for my debt card. I stated I didn't think I had enough on my debt card. He then states let me have it anyway and lets see, While waiting for my card to go through he starts in telling me this is all my fault. I knew I was coming to appointment and should be more prepared, He's a important man and has a lot of clients waiting to get an appointment.. By this time I feel very manipulated, very bullied, and about ready to cry and want away from him. I stated to him I was uncomfortable and was not staying regardless. Of course my debt went through .
So my appointment time is 12:00, now its 12:06 pm , he hands me a receipt....... He charged me $148.86 for six minutes of his time. He followed me out and kept saying how it was my fault I finally said great Boyd okay if it makes you feel better I'll take the blame. I should have read the reviews before my appointment. It seems he has a history of aggression. So after leaving my six minute therapy appointment, I was so upset. I pulled over in a parking lot to calm down to drive safely . I couldn't figure out why I was treated so ugly. It's been my experience if a provider has a question with a patients insurance they call insurance company or there is a providers web site that give immediate coverage information. I then called my insurance and they never received a claim from Boyd. So, in my opinion, please be kind to yourself and do not let Boyd Sherbourne into your personal life . There are many excellent therapist in Rogue Valley.

I quickly established a rapport with Boyd and felt that my time with him would prove to be valuable. I have been seeing him for over two months and I leave each session feeling better and that my progress has been very satisfying for me. Boyd is a great listener, highly knowledgeable, insightful, and empathetic. I like his direct and honest approach, no time is wasted with superfluous conversation. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking help with psychological concerns. You will be happy with the results.

Boyd was extremely rude, dismissive, and Gas-Lighting. I didn't stay in the session because he focused on me instead of being "neutral". My husband had opportunities to discuss with Boyd prior to our appointment, I feel there was a prejudice because of my husbands feeling of me. I didn't get the benefit of what Boyd is supposedly trained for.

Dr. Sherbourne created a safe, non- judgmental place to talk. He gave me space and allowed me to come around on my own timing. He gave me tools that allowed me to live life again out in the real world. Dr. Sherbourne is the first Therapist that I would recommend.
