I first came to Dr. Talavera for my pre-diabetes AIC number. I also gave her my T-score number from my latest bone density scan from my family doctor. She listened, interviewed me and looked at my numbers and determined that my T-score is what needs to be concerned about because my AIC number is below the threshold. Now, she's treating my osteoporosis with great care by doing several tests before she recommends the right medicine. I love the way she listens to her patients and not give you the one-fits-all treatment.

I have high blood calcium.
Dr. Talavera is very cautious. She goes by the facts including bloodwork results and other tests and she listens to her patient before making a decision in her diagnosis. That was a big deal to me. She’ll keep asking you, “Does that make sense?” when she explains stuff to you.
