I was recommended by a friend to go see Dr. Stovall for contacts. I never knew there was an option to be able to see up close and far away besides mono vision. I love these multifocal contacts. I've heard he was known for his kindness and now I can see why. Well worth the wait. The ladies up front were very nice, I drank the coffee they give to patients and watched lil tv. The technology blew my mind and therefore, I felt the need to share my opinions.

Dr. Stovall is a truly brilliant optometrist. I am a hard to fit case and have been "seeing" Dr. Stoval for years. Unfortunately as his practice has become busier, his appointments run very late. He sees multiple patients at a time so what should be a relatively quick appointment can take an hour and a half or more., and I can't keep taking time off work for so long. Saturdays are very busy too. His staff is mediocre about ordering lenses on time. All the good staff members have gone. It is a pity because Dr. Stovall is truly an exceptionally talented optometrist.

I called the day before and scheduled an appointment for the next day at 2:30...I showed up for the appointment 15 minutes early and the staff had zero record that I had an appointment... Don't they pay people for that? It's past 2:30 now and even though I am literally the only person here, I am still waiting to be "checked in" to be checked out.

I have been trying for 1 month to get my daughter's contacts and the office in Gainesville has been given me the run around for the entire month. I paid a year supply and still have not recieved them. I have asked them to refund my money, so that I can take my insurance benefits and go somewhere else. They told me that they were not going to give me a refund "until I can prove I don't have her contacts" How am I suppose to prove that I don't have the contacts when they can't provide me with prove that I received the contacts. Do yourself a favor and don't go anywhere near that location. The staff and office manager are rude, hateful, unorganized and basically do not care. I have learned my lesson and will be filing complaints with my employer and Better Business Bureau.

Going to the lenscrafters optometrist is like getting a cheap haircut. They try to upsell you then spin the chair to get you out to the sales floor as fast as they can. So they can sell you overpriced glasses. Just hope they get the prescription right between the Dr and the sales people. This place is high pressure sales and rush you out the door.

Dr. Stovall is an excellent optometrist; however, his staff is hugely disorganized and lackluster in attitude. I had an exam to update my contacts, and it took his office manager 6 days AFTER my appointment to order my lenses (>$500, paid up front). I got a bare apology and no real explanation of why there was such a lag time between my exam and ordering the contacts. Over two weeks after the appointment and still no contacts. Don't go if you want your contacts to be promptly ordered and delivered.
