If you are looking for an endocrinologist to help take care of your diabetes do not go to Sahene Yavuz. She constantly will cancel or change your appointments with little to no warning. My last appointment was canceled three days before my appointment due to wanting holiday time which I get but more than three days warning is unacceptable when this appointment was scheduled 6 months in advance. And this isn’t the first time doing it me. I had been for every appointment I have had except the very first visit. Speaking with the secretary staff I am not the only patient she is doing this too. They have not reported this neglect to her manager which is Mel Wagner. There are countless other patients that have been receiving the neglect I have been. My glipazide was up and I needed a refill for. She won’t re-prescribe it to me because she hasn’t seen me in a year which is a lie. I have had multiple visits with her through virtual visits. After three phone calls today back and forth with the endocrinology department she so kindly gave me 1 month refill which won’t last me till getting a new endocrinologist which are booking to the end of may. To boot she doesn’t believe that I need a referral to go to another healthcare location. So she doesn’t even know basics when it come to health care. To go to a specialist or specialty care you must have a referral.
If you value your kidneys, stay away from Sahzene Yavuz. She works in Sayre PA and Bigflats/corning NY
