Dr. Bartels is a wonderful person. I would recommend him to anyone who has a child with issues. He really knows how to deal with teenagers. My shy and troubled 15 year-old son has had a hard time with school. He needs guidance, and someone to talk to, other than family. He rarely talks to me, but he is always able to talk with Dr. Bartels. It isn't hard to get an appointment with the doctor either, he is very accommodating. He sees clients on the weekend too! My 12 yr old son had been experiencing major difficulty in school. He was failing, had a fight on the bus and was suspended from school. I was at my wits end and was referred to Dr Bartels. He was a Godsend. With the guidance and help from Dr. Bartels it has been a complete turn around for my son and we couldn't be happier with the results. We thank you Dr. Bartels.
