This guy is overly expensive. Total rip off and only cares about money as others indicated.

If I could put no stars, I would because that is what would be fitting for this dentist. He told me I needed expensive work done that I did not need. This was confirmed by other highly qualified trustworthy dentists who unlike this dentist is only interested in money and not at all concerned with his patients best interest or best care.

I usually like to read reviews before I go and while everyone is different, I couldn't disagree more with the lower scores posted here. Dr Landau is very punctual, never rushes and very flexible. I had recently scheduled a 3 hour block of time to have several fillings from my childhood replaced. I messed up on the time and called telling him I would be late and he and his staff were very accommodating. I arrived 40 minutes late and rather than being upset or rude, he simply told me that he's "...not a pilot. I can't make time up in the air..." and so he did a quality job on as many fillings as he could. I sure appreciate the fact that he takes pride in his work and doesn't sacrifice that for anything. I would highly recommend him if you're looking for a solid dentist!

Dr. Landau is the most exceptional dentist I have ever gone to. I was referred to him by two friends who had cosmetic dentistry done by him. Their work was beautiful, the most natural I have ever seen. I didn't even know they had work done I just complimented them on their smiles. He has now done the same beautiful work for me. I can't say enough great things about him, his state of the art office or his staff. If you are looking for a beautiful smile there is nowhere else to go.

Absolutely awesome and caring staff, they are very thorough in explaining procedures and answering any questions you may have. Dr. Landau was awesome as well got me through my root canal that I was very nervous about without pain and did a great job!

Dr. Landau has been my dentist since 2008. In my opinion he’s the best restorative and cosmetic dentist in the Chicagoland area! He’s a highly skilled perfectionist with a caring and compassionate chair side manner. He always takes the time to explain treatment, fees and answers all of my questions. Dorothy, his hygienist, is the best hygienist I have ever had! She’s experienced, caring, and has such a gentle touch. Dr. Landau’s dental assistants and office manager are as competent, accomplished, knowledgeable and professional as Dr. Landau and Dorothy are. The whole office is a well organized team of professionals that are there to go above and beyond for their patients! Thanks Dr. Landau and staff of all the wonderful care you have given to me over the years! You guys are the best!

Although the work Dr. L has done for myself and my family has been of high quality, he is extremely overpriced and a very big interventionist. This can mean much unnecessary work. I advise getting a second opinion before you agree to his recommendations. Although very bedside manner, please beware.

I also had some serious problems with Dr. Landau! I would strongly suggest you skip this DDS.
Not only is he super expensive, but I also found that he finds things to do on teeth that did not need to be worked on. Both my husband and myself questioned his motives as well!
He often runs late, and then rushes through your appointment.. Like your time isn't important, and then you wonder how good of a job he is doing..?
I would also like to add that he suggests restoring as many teeth at the same time so "his lab" can do all of the work at the same time.. causing you to be stuck with a hefty bill$$$ Furthermore, 2 of my crowns had to be re-done because of poor fit at the gum line! RUN away from this office- there are far better dentists who will have your best interest in hand- not like Dr. Landau

Had some serious problems with this dentist and I know someone who he has also messed up with. Many better dentists in the area. He is also expensive and seems motivated by money and not doing what is best for the patient.

Dr. Landau has helped me through numerous and complicated dental issues, from root canals to implants. He is always attentive and kind, and his work has been outstanding. I had a previous dentist who left me with a lot of problems. When Dr. Landau fixes a tooth - it is perfect for the long term.
