I have never met a Dr. who cared so much about her patients. I have never felt uncomfortable asking her questions. She has helped me in many ways.

Most of the negative reviews here seem to be about the scheduling services of her office(s). I agree that scheduling isn't always fun. However, I would like to echo the positive comments regarding her personal attributes as a Doctor. I and my wife are huge fans of Dr. Santoro. I found her to be very caring and knowledgeable. She was patient and willing to customize treatments, and think outside the conventional box of modern medicine. That isn't at all a given in my experience with Doctors over the years.

I called in October and spoke to Briana and was told that the first available appointment would be November 30th at 11:15am. I made the appointment and received the new patient paperwork in the mail about a week later that had to be filled out. I confirmed my appointment on November 25th and again on November 28th. I then got a call from Briana on November 29th asking me the reason for my visit. I asked her to confirm who she was and if she was a nurse as I wasn’t sure why after I had just spoken to her the day before to confirm why she was now calling me asking me why I was coming in. She advised they had to reschedule me due to a conflict and the next available appointment wasn’t until December 29th. I told her that was not acceptable as I had already waited a month. She asked me if there was something wrong that I needed to see a doctor now, I told her that I haven’t been to the doctor in a few years and needed to be seen as soon as possible. After some back & forth, both of us with attitudes she said to just come in and the call was ended. I called back about an hour later because I felt bad about how the call went. I spoke to Naomi who was really nice and confirmed that I still had my appointment set for the following day. I told her to apologize to Brianna for me as I didn’t mean to give her attitude.
So then on November 30th at 10:15am I get a call from Brianna telling me that my appointment has to be cancelled due to the conflict and that the office manager just told her. I asked her what the conflict was, is the doctor sick? She asked me to hold and put the office manager on the phone. I don’t remember her name, but she told me that a new doctor was supposed to start but that it didn’t work out so Dr. Santoro couldn’t handle all the appointments. I asked her when they realized this as I had just spoken to Briana on Monday to confirm and there were no issues and if there was no way possible I was to be seen today that I should have been told that yesterday so I didn’t waste a day off from work. She said that she would try to get me into another location. I guess what happened next is my fault as I didn’t confirm it would for that same day. I got a call 3 hours later telling me that I could be seen at the Sewell practice but not until Monday. This was not acceptable as I could not take another day off from work. At this point, I told them that I was not going to deal with this practice anymore and that it’s ashame how they handled this situation.

Dr. Santoro is one of the best doctor's I've ever met with. No matter how many patients, she never makes you feel rushed and always listens to your concerns. I've recommended her to many other people and I'm very disappointed that she left Advocare.

Its one thing to have to wait for over an hour to see the doctor, but when another patient is seen before you who clearly had a later appt. that is just unacceptable.
