Could not even get into to see Dr. Swan because they only take payment upfront.$200. Then it's up to me to submit insurance papers. Didn't even bother to ask if I was having cancer symptoms or anything; they just didn't care. It's all about the money.

Dr. Swan knew me and my entire family by name. She delivered 3 of my children at home and it was a very good experience each time. She listened to me and was very knowledgeable in women's health. Dr. Swan loves what she does and it shows.

Truly respect and trust Farra--which is unusual for me. If she feels you need to see a specialist, she has no problem referring to someone she would trust, though my experience has been she has "called" it every time. Been seeing her since the birth of my daughter 15 years ago (another forever great memory and a lot due to Farra) except when moved out of state temporarily. HIGHLY recommend!

I was referred to Dr. Swan by 2 other doctors and only wish I'd known about her years earlier. I think I've been seeing her for at least 6-7 years now. If you want a physician who truly cares are about you, believes in preventative (and natural) medicine, integrates your mental, emotional and spiritual health into the overall picture AND is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated, call Dr. Swan.

Farra is the best! She helped me deliver my miracle 13 years ago. My birth experience was fantastic, I can't imagine giving birth in a hospital. I highly reoccomend her for the entire family for health and wellness. I wish we could clone her!!

Dr. Swan is our pediatrician and I couldn't ask for a better doc. She is all about letting us make our own choices and never pushes her opinion. She is a great doctor especially for anyone wishing to hold off on vacinations. She will never make you feel bad about such a decision, and she doesn't feel right persuading you one way or the other. She has a book list for her pregnant mothers which helps prepare you for the homebirth experience. I would recommend her to anyone.

I was recommended to see Farra by a physician friend. She delivered both my children at home into a world of amazing friends and family around. She is normally behind schedule, but knowing she will devote as much time to me makes it completely fine. Farra is available day noon or night ( have called her about a rash or problem at her home on Sundays even) during and after pregnancy. My children loved her and she showed she too cared for them as her "Kiddies". If Farra doesn’t have the answer for you, she will gladly pull out the PDA or consult other professionals for the advice. She has no issue getting you the help you need and deserve, even if it means sending you elsewhere. She truly cares about her patients, big and small. I am so sad we have moved and won’t be able to have her deliver our next baby should we decide to have another. She becomes part of your family, not just a family doctor.

Dr. Swan is actually a family medicine doc with a special interest in natural childbirth. She encourages her patients, male and female, to take responsibility for their own health. She prescribes pharmaceuticals only when absolutely necessary; her preference is to help the body heal itself through natural means such as lifestyle changes, supplementation with vitamins and minerals, and the use of botanical medicines. She offers continuity of care from birth to old age. She's been delivering babies in their homes for over 20 years. I delivered my own baby into my own hands three years ago, with Dr. Swan coaching, monitoring and overseeing the whole process while allowing me to let my body do what it needed to do. It was a beautiful, peaceful birth - and I can't recommend this method, or Dr. Swan highly enough.
