I felt like the doctor was understanding of what was going on with me and had me to the correct blood tests to find the underlying physical issues so I could address them as needed and feel whole again. I already feel better just starting on the supplements and I like a doctor's office geared towards making one better despite all contrary opinions about how one can't fix certain conditions. My doctor took time with me, answered all my questions and gave me a solution to work with. I am very happy

Being a patient with Dr. Holtorf was the first time in a long time that a Doctor recognized me as an intelligent individual and an equal partner in my health care concerns.

I needed an endocrinologist to get my hormone levels checked after thyroid surgery. I did an internet search and found Dr. Holtorf because he had great reviews and his website showed him as extremely successful with thyroid patients. There was a thorough amount of info on the site about him, testing methods and treatment options. I got to the office 10 minutes before my appointment and was greeted by friendly staff. There were about 3 other patients in line ahead of me. I waited about 25 minutes, 15 mins after my appointment time which was good, considering I had just finished filling out the new patient info. I was happy to see Dr. Holtorf who was walking me through hormone treatment should my results come back too low.He made a point to get to know me and talked to me about nursing schools I'm looking into.  The procedure was quick and he later called me personally to talk about my results. I like how he told me about options without telling me to choose. I will continue to see him

Upon first contact with Holtorf Medical, I didn't expect much. I was visiting my relatives out of town when my cousin asked me to take her in since no other car was available at the house and she had been having problems with migraines. My uncle also had a history with migraines (as did I), so I know how seriously debilitating it can be to have a migraine (and how miserable one feels), so of course I said yes and took her over. She had been reading up on places locally and decided to try Holtorf out. While I did not specifically sit in with her, she left her diagnosis commenting how welcoming and polite the staff was in its entirety, and how quickly we were in and out. We did have an appointment set, so that could attribute to our relatively quick (in my opinion) visit, but I was surprised at how quickly we were able to see a specialist and get her started on the right track to being treated for her migraines. Thank you Dr. Holtorf!

For 13 years I struggled with being very over weight. My doctors practically called me a liar when I told them what I ate. I would lose a little only to gain a lot. Towards the end when I talked of the all consuming fatigue the dr would say "what do you expect you have three kids". Dr Holtorf changed all that. He not only listens with compassion,he takes what I said seriously. I am literally half the person I was at my heaviest and I have easily twice the energy I had even on my best day then. I will never be able to express my gratitude to Dr Holtorf- I can run with my son, Colt, as I coach his soccer team. I can hike with my son, Trace, as his Cub Scout Den leader. He gave me back ME- the woman I was meant to be. Drs' like him to make such a difference in so many lives.

I have posted a comment before that I was very unhappy with my treatment but Dr Rashele and the clinic have since then gone out of their way to help me and my condition of hypothyroid is slowly improving and I lost 5 pounds so far from my rapid weight gain of 14 pounds in one week. Dr Rashele has called me various times to follow up and taken all my angry outbursts patiently and never gave up on me. So I am feeling good in her hands and hope has returned

Dr. Holtorf is a friendly enough fellow who seems to be fairly knowledgeable. However two things bothered me about his practice His office staff has something to be desired in their friendliness and competency. I guess Dr. Holtorf has grown so fast the there isn't much time for quality control in hiring staff. I also don't like the way they keep a tight leash on their patients. They would not let me buy more than one months medication at a time and if they think you are passed due for one of their "examinations" they will cut you off without mercy. The other fault I find is that there is a lot of pushing of expensive supplements. My guess the profit on these supplements is the main reason for the excessive growth in his practice

The Hortorf medical Group is worst than Pot dispensary. Dr. Hortorf claimed he is a hormone expert. I recently found out that he is not even trained in Endocrinology. He also claimed he is an expert in Lyme Disease (Infectious Disease) and Chronic Fatique Syndrome (Rheumatology). His office ran tons of unnecessary testing. I was prescribed thyroid hormones, growth hormones, long-term antibotics. I am worst than I ever was. I was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at USC.

I was also misdiagnosed by this medical group. Came there for a Lyme test, the doctor refused to test me and I asked for the test at every visit. Now wheelchair bound due to delay in diagnosis. There is a special place in hell for Holtorf Medical!!!!

The most unsettling part about this person is that he keeps changing his medical credentials. Here he's listed as a pathologist, somewhere else he's a board certified endocrinologist; in another place he’s an expert in infectious diseases. There was a push during the swine flu scare by the skeptic community to write the producers of news programs about all the incorrect information he was giving out – starting with who he really is.
