My senior citizen father has been treated by Dr. Tsao for diabetes, and after a couple of recent health scares which landed him in the hospital, I went with my father to a follow up office visit. Dr. Tsao was curt, dismissive, and arrogant - zero bedside manner. I can't imagine how he must be when treating other senior patients. He left no room for questions, and I reckon he's punctual because he's more concerned with cramming as many appointments as possible during a day rather than actually caring about treating his patients. He also seems keen on prescribing a cornucopia of drugs without any explanation. I've discussed this with my father, and I am hoping to switch him to another doctor. After what I've witnessed, I'd highly advise going elsewhere.

Office staff is a nightmare!!! Could not be less helpful. Impossible to speak to the doctor over the phone. Doctor is rushed and really doesn't care.

Very hands on. Dr. Tsao impressed me from day one. There aren't many doctors out there that personally take their patient's blood, and very well I might add, and provide you with most results within 5-10 minutes. Highly recommended!

My parents and I have been going to Dr. Tsao for years. He's treated my father for diabetes, and my mother and I for hypothyroidism. He spends as much times as necessary, takes the blood himself, and always asks me if I have any questions or concerns. He's very up-to-date on current medical research, and both my mother and I have seen definite results from our thyroid treatments. His staff is always kind, and when I needed copies of my medical records, they did it right away with no charge. I would recommend him to anyone with endocrine issues.

Excellent doctor who is truly one of a kind. I've seen him numerous times as a patient, as well as a previous pharmaceutical rep who called on him for years. He is one of the best doctors in LA County and I should know, because I've called on hundreds of doctors in this area. He is extremely knowledgeable and very nice. He is one of the few doctors who actually takes a patient's phone call. I highly recommend him!

He really didn't help me understand what was wrong with me. He prescribed me metformin for diabetes, but I don't have diabetes. He really didn't do enough research on me to find out what was wrong. I definitely will not go back to him.

although tsao is the only endocrinologist i have ever been to ive got to say he is brilliant. he is a very smart man and makes blood tests pain free. There is a reason my parents (ob/gyn's) refer all their patients who develop diabetes to him... He is the BEST

Dr. Tsao is a very knowledgeable doctor, he knows his stuff! I have been seeing him over 20 years and would highly recommend him to anyone. Sometimes it's hard to get an appointment because he is so booked and his waiting room is packed but if you ever need to talk to him he will take your telephone right away. He goes above and beyond his field of medicine.
