Dr Steinberger & his staff were the best. He did surgery on me in 1998 which was great. I had hardware placed in my back in 2009. I was great with my back until about a year ago when it started acting up. He does not take my insurance now so I went to Drs in my area. They did a few eoidurals & PT to no avail. I have terrible pain & hardly sleep. I have fallen a few xs. I wish I could go to him again. He was the best. I am on Eliquis now because of clots & have to watch what I take. His NP Wing Chow ( sorry for spelling ) was wonderful. She is a good friend & colleague of someone close to me. I wish he took my insurance. I am afraid of falling and breaking my hip or femur. I have AARP Medicare Complete endorsed by United Health Cate. If

Dr Steinberger cured my spinal stenosis. I am a triathlete and was nervous going into the surgery. 6 months later I am running on a consistent basis pain free and looking forward to a come back triathlon season. Keep in mind that I went into surgery very fit which is key to a fast and strong recovery. I had a posterior lumbar fusion of the L4-5 plus disc replacement for the herniated disc.
All good now 6 months later and ran a 10 mile long run this past weekend. I selected Dr Steinberger from a friend who recommended and had a similar procedure with the same success.

Dr. Alfred Steinberger performed (ACDF) surgery to remove a herniated / degenerative disc in my neck. Was VERY pleased with results! Best decision I ever made! While the procedure was a bit scary to me & I was worried about the recovery - the results outweighed ALL of my concerns. No more stiffness, less headaches - no more numbness in my arms & fingers! Surgery was without any complications & scar is VERY minimal! Highly recommend this superbly skilled neurosurgeon!

Dr. Steinberger was my third opinion and his approach made the most sense with the least concern about repositioning and other site tenderness. 4 level lumbar fusion later and I'm pain-free and functional. I am eternally grateful to Dr.Steinberger for my wonderful outcome.

Dr. Steinberger is a very compassionate and knowledgeable and skilled neurosurgeon. He and his staff answered all of my questions (and I ask a LOT of questions). They understood all of my concerns, and were very attentive to all of my concerns and needs. I would highly recommend the doctor and his staff.
