Dr. Robison is an excellent specialist. He is great with my little girl; he takes time to ensure I am comfortable and understand the plan. Easy to get a hold of. Office staff friendly and helpful.

My son just had surgery for several issues with D. Robison. To be honest I was worried we might be blown off like in the past. The doctors nurse took a very detailed history. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. We did wait in the office for a substancial time but it was no different from other ENT offices I've worked with in the past for other children. I would like to believe I was patient so that other parents got their questions answered just as fully as we were able to. Our valley has a great need for this specialty and I can understand where this doctor may come off hurried occassionally but it's to be expected. Dr. Robison has a great bedside manner. He always asked if he answered all of our questions and was lighthearted except when he needed to be serious. . He was ultra knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable with my son's impending surgery. The surgery went very well even though I was concerned and cautious with this choice. Three days post op and my son is doing better than I expected and he is vocalizing and saying words he had never said before! I'm certain we are avoiding years of speech therapy because now my son can breathe and hear! He haas post op croupiness but I'm confidentrhis will resolve as well. I'm so thankful to Dr. Robison. This far into rhe gameand I can already say he has made a huge impact on my son's well-being. I was concerned about jumping to surgery before more tests ect. but I'm GLAD he was a little more on the aggressive side because I can already see an improvement.

Dr. Robison suggested that our son have an adenoidectomy and tympanostomy to treat very mild unilateral hearing loss. The reason for our appointment was due to a hearing screen at school that didn't go well and because the school district's audiologist suggested we make sure that there isn't a constant infection. Our son has never had an ear infection, used antibiotics etc. After reading the criteria for both adenoidectomy and tympanostomy, we felt that the surgery is an extreme solution and we can't see where our son meets the criteria for either. Even Dr. Robison said that this is a condition that will pass with time. We got a 2nd opinion and that opinion was that surgery is not warranted for our son's situation.

Less important, but Dr. Robison had a difficult time making eye contact. Perhaps he was distracted by my necklace, but I don't believe that to be the case. Very unprofessional.

Dr. was unprofessional when we asked questions regarding his recommendation. Didn't like that we were prepared with questions for possible alternative plan of care. Walked out in middle of appointment as he "was done with his recommendation" We were not arguing with him just asking questions that we thought were valid. Was not willing to educate us as to why he made such recommendations. I wouldn't not suggest any parent who likes to research the best care for their child come to his practice.

My son had a tonsillectomy with Dr. Robison. He had a great bedside manner and was very knowledgeable. The person above stated they had to wait 1 1/2 hours before surgery--that's actually a normal wait time before ANY surgery.

We were referred to a ENT Dr. for my daughter by her pediatrician for possible adenoid removal. The rating I gave to this Dr. is due to the fact that both at the initial visit (consultation), and on the date of surgery, we were left waiting to see him for a long period of time. The first visit we were checked in by his MA and then left in the patient room waiting for an hour and 10mins. On the date of surgery we were waiting for over an hour and a half. After waiting for that amount of time with no conclusive answers, we decided to cancel. We had checked with the unit clerk and spoke to the head nurse before leaving about what was going on and both were unaware of any reason for the delay. The family scheduled after us, with the same Dr., was upset for the same reason. Unprofessional, considering the appt. was first thing in the morning and many other patients who checked after us were in and done with surgery before we were even brought back to pre-op. No call from the Dr. to apologize.
