Dr. Gomes might be a good doctor but his office staff is a disaster, starting from the people who answer the phones or work at the front desk (Minor & Lucy), to the very office manager, Alfredo.
They give false information when in the office (or over the phone), they promise they’ll follow up with a call but never do, then when you talk to Alfredo, the office manager, he’s very patronizing and aggressive, talks over you, tells you you’re repeating yourself, tells you that the process to get your glasses takes twice as long than what you’ve been previously told by his office staff and when you point that out, he suggests, indirectly but in a very condescending manner, that you’re a liar. When you call him out on the fact that his employees are the liars and you express that you’ll post a negative review if the message is not passed to Dr. Gomes for a callback, Alfred gets angry and says “you telling me that you’re going to post a negative review is A THREAT” and when you reply that’s within your right to post a negative review if you had a negative experience, he hangs up on you!
When you call back, Lucy hangs up on you too!
I don’t understand the high ratings because given the very negative experience I had, I strongly doubt this is an isolated incident. And the dishonesty I got to experience makes me think that the high reviews are a complete sham, most likely posted by the very unprofessional office staff.

I just moved to the area and was referred by a friend to this new practice just opened Eyedeal Care Optometry. The staff is so friendly and the Dr. was amazing and patient. The office has an amazing selection of frames. Highly recommend this place.
