Dr Kasenetz is a great primary care provider (PCP). I believe the less then stellar reviews are misguided and not taking into the account the role the patient plays in the doctor-patient relationship. I've never felt rushed, like my time was any less important then Dr. Kasenetz's, or her other waiting patients. I searched for 15 years to find a PCP I trusted and could develop a rapport with that allowed for the most effective treatment/diagnosis when ill. Dr. Kasenetz has always addressed my concerns, taken the time to answer my questions, REMEMBERED me between visits (rare quality), and taken immediate action to address the ailment that led me to see her, and referred me to the appropriate specialist when needed. Her diagnoses have always been on the mark, and when needed her referral was spot on, and she followed up with me about it. These are the qualities inherent in a good PCP. I wouldn't hesitate to refer her to anyone.

Dr. Pam is without question the best internist I've see in many, many years. She is young and up to date with the latest medical techniques. She doesn't rush you but wants to fully understand your concerns/alments before giving you her opinion. She is a breath of fresh air at the Falls Church Medical Center. Welcome aboard!

I have been at the associated with the Falls Church Medical Center for over thirty years and seen many physicians come and go. There has never been a more professional and appropriate doctor than Dr. Kasenetz. She is knowledgeable, easy to talk to and always eager to learn. I have, and will continue, to refer patients to her on a regular basis.

I normally do not go onto these things to rate anyone but after my visit with Dr. Pamela Kasenetz and seeing the negative reviews below I had to set the record straight that she is hands down THE BEST DR. I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. She was on time (I barely had to wait) and I felt so relieved when she walked in. She was caring, she listened and she was extremely knowledgeable. I came to her because I hated my current internist and needed to talk to someone about my depression and upping my meds. She went through all of the options and the two of us decided on something that has worked. She follows up with me every two weeks to make sure I am doing okay and that I am seeing a therapist. She is an amazing Dr. and I am so blessed to have found her. I highly recommend Dr. Pamela Kasenetz.

After reading all of the previous reviews, I am wondering if we are all talking about the same person. In my experience, Dr. Kasenetz has been anything but arrogant. She has always taken the time to listen and allow me to explain exactly what the issue may be rather than jumping in before I am able to finish. She is extremely thorough in her examinations and in my experience, has always taken the extra step, making me feel like she truly does care about her patients. Unlike the other reviews, I thought she had great bedside manner and was very easy to talk to. In fact, I feel so comfortable under her care, that I followed her from her old practice to her new one. I would definitely recommend Dr. Kasenetz to anyone looking for a new primary care physician.

I was surprised to find these negative reviews. I recently met with Dr. Kasenetz and found her to be warm and engaging. I did not feel rushed during our appointment. She was able to answer my questions and explain in terms I understood why she was prescribing what she was. At the end of the visit, she asked if I had any questions and even asked if I was on board with the plan. I intend to follow up with her as well as recommend her to my friends.

Dr. Kasenetz is a very arrogant and rude doctor, she is not friendly at all and doesn't have basic skills on how to interact with patients. I went to her for severe back pain that I had been experiencing for weeks. Normally, I go see my primary physician, but he was out that day so I decided to see her instead. She walked in after I had been waiting for 10 minutes, asked me what the problem was - and as I was explaining the problem to her, she kept look at her watch to push me along. She spent a total of 5 minutes, if that, and prescribed a bunch steroids, and some over the counter meds, none of which I took. She didn't care to explain to me what could be the root cause, didn't care to tell me next steps, just prescribed strong steroids and was off to the next patient. I am so thankful she is not my PCP - I will never be going back to her again.

She is arrogant arrogant and somewhat rude. She doesn't listen to what her patient talking about. She seems like she knows everything but in reality she doesnt. She prescribed me oral contraceptives for my gynaecological problem but i refused to take it. Then she referred me to a gynaecologist and my gynaecologst told that i don't need oral contraceptives because my lab reports were normal. This proves that she was not very knowledgeable.

Dr. Kasenetz did not listen to what I was saying and did not seem to know what she was talking about. She is very light handed when prescribing psychiatric drugs yet she is not a psychiatrist and that is worrisome! I never consulted her for psychiatric needs and she never diagnosed mental illness, yet she prescribed a number of SSRI's and wasn't aware of the side effects they cause. Needless to say, I never filled the prescriptions and I am doing just fine. She is young and needs more experience and compassion.
