Dr. Timothy P. Lindquist's Credentials

Biography

Dr. Timothy Lindquist is the newest surgeon to join the Durrie Vision team. Specializing in laser vision correction and refractive lens procedures, Dr. Lindquist is a board certified ophthalmologist and member of the American Board of Ophthalmology. After graduating from Wheaton College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Dr. Lindquist received his medical doctorate at Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL. He continued his training with an internship in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center, followed by a three-year ophthalmic residency at KU Eye. During his residency, he was recognized as Resident of the Year in 2010 & 2011 and named Chief Resident in his final year. Prior to joining Durrie Vision, Dr. Lindquist completed a fellowship at Children’s Mercy Hospital, specializing in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus. Most recently, he served as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Passionate about research and advancement within the field of ophthalmology, Dr. Lindquist has contributed to a number of publications, presentations, and professional medical journals in recent years. Dr. Lindquist lives in Prairie Village, KS with his wife, Kristen, and two young daughters, Katelyn and Hartley. In his free time he enjoys fishing, cooking, gardening, and woodworking.
