Dr. Lehr performed my urgent coronary artery bypass operation and the surgery undoubtedly saved my life. I appreciate his outstanding expertise and his thoughtfulness in encouraging immediate surgery and his kind concern on follow up visits. His staff was also first-rate and highly skilled as well as caring. Dr. Lehr’s background is also impressive, and he performs several of these complex operations each week. Dr. Lehr forgot about my Mother;s valve replacement when it was scheduled in September 2020, forgot to have anyone notify us, sat at Swedish for four plus hours sorting it out. He and his key staff failed us in every way, ultimately my Mother passed away two plus months after his performing a valve replacement. Unfortunately he and his staff did not stick to the aftercare plans for rehab that I had insisted on for months prior to the surgery. Also, his arrogance and misleading statements are intolerable. He even told me that "no one dies from Afib" whih seems to be a surprise to every doctor I share his statement with. Suggest you steer clear of him and his staff. And as for Swedish - sad to say, they are NOT the hospital they used to be!

he's the best. any one should consider him if chest surgery is need.
