I have been patient of Dr. MOHIT Arora since he took over the midwest lake office in Woodstock. He sees all his patients PERSONALLY. (no nurse practitioner or physician assistant). I have found him to be: polite, patient,interested in his clients as INDIVIDUALS, and knowledgeable. His staff can always fit you in if you have an emergency or are sick. He is multi-lingual. His only drawback is that he is chronically behind schedule. But I feel that is due to his hospitalized patients, and the unrushed style he practices in. I gave him FIVE STARS.

Hello friends. I usually try to avoid leaving reviews but about doctors ,I feel we all in need sometime in our life. My new doctor , he is amazingly nice, caring and highly knowledgeable. After hitting couple of arrogant , rude doctors in town, finally I met one decent doctor , who listens , cares & wants to help you. Dr Arora, took care of my mom in the hospital , then I started seeing him as my primary physician. Now my whole family goes to him. I know how hard to find nice good doctor , I been to that road. I feel obligated to help others in need by writing my review.

I was very impressed with his bedside manners. When i was in the hospital , he came two times, just to update my family about my health condition. I have heard his other patients in waiting room talking so highly about him. I noticed , how he requested his staff to waive office visit for patient , who was in financial crunch. This brought tears of joy, and hope ,other physician work with same kindness in their heart. I heard him saying, he wants to practice medicine to help, those who need and avoid those who abuse medical system.

I am in total agreement with the earlier review. Dr. Arora is the worst physician I have ever seen. He is dictatorial in his approach and does not listen to the patient. Needless to say, after a few appointments I hit the exits. The result was I found Dr. Joseph Emmons, who was enthusiastically recommended by family and friends because he has earned the respect and admiration of the community. Dr. Emmons is a young, smart, vivacious, and exceedingly polite gentleman. I guess all things happen for a reason. If not for Dr. Arora's terrible approach to patient care, I would not have found Dr. Emmons.

Worst bed-side manner of any doctor I've ever seen. Wrote insulin prescriptions incorrectly, wouldn't follow up with repeated requests from pharmacy and myself. Would not authorize test strips prescription along with insulin prescriptions. How does a diabetic take new insulin and not be able to test the results? Completely unprofessional. Would not answer direct questions. Also gave a test result that has a high instance of false negatives without running a second screening. Added a level of stress, should have waited for second screening before even mentioning to the patient. Nurse in the office was rude and had attitude even though I started off the call very nicely. Would not recommend this doctor or his office to anyone. Would not ever allow him to be my doctor if I am ever admitted to the hospital again. Very frustrating and awful experience from Dr. Aurora and his staff.
