Dr. Munoz is very condescending. He didn't take time to investigate my symptoms and cut me off 2 minutes after entering the examining room and said my symptoms are totally unrelated to the large cyst on my thyroid. He insulted my referring physician and stated he had no idea why that doctor referred me to him. He also launched into a completely irrelevant lecture on why people can't lose weight and made sure to tell me that I would gain weight over time as I aged and since I'm a woman. He dismissed the symptoms in my neck and attributed them to acid reflux, which I have very, very occasionally. He was arrogant and made me feel dumb and histrionic, which I most definitely am not. It's sad that we have to settle for this type of medical care in Cheyenne and since he's the only endocrinologist in town, I wonder how many other people have had a negative experience with Dr. Munoz. It's disheartening to be treated this way by a "professional."

Never listens to symptoms I'm having. Basically tells me I don't know my body. Has a problem w any doctor who disagrees w him and refuses to test for other possibilities

Ignored my current test results from other doctors that were in opposition to his own opinions, when his data was a year old. He does not understand the thyroid. An embarrassment to the medical community and a poor endocrinologist. If you don't have a baseball sized goiter hanging off of your neck, this man thinks you have no problem and refuses to treat you, or even perform a test.
