Did unnecessary surgery, misdiagnosing symptoms, then botched surgery, then would not answer calls when the patient had complications. The patient will never be the same again.

I went to have a SCS to better my pain instead came out paralyzed from the left side down my left leg because he misread the ct scan that could’ve potentially avoided me from having all these issues and getting worse with time. I never received a call back from him nor did he check back on me to see how I was doing. Egotistical and selfish person and very arrogant. Stay away or you will never be the same.

I wish I would have knew what I know now back in 2009. Dr. Hodge made me worst than I was before surgery. He messed up the first surgery to only charge me more for the second one. He is very egotistical and he don't listen. Everything is your fault when he messes up. I didn't want to have surgery in the first place. I wish all these reviews were here then. He would not have touched me. Now I have to have another surgery for the 2nd surgery he messed up.

He is horrible. He did a surgery in my husband and it cost him his life. I was told he would be ok if he just made it thru surgery. He didn't worn me that if he didn't suture him oroperly that he would bleed out and have another stroke. My husband never woke up. Stay away from thus dr. He is an egotistical jerk. Never even said he was sorry for my kids just blamed us for having the surgery. It was his idea!!!

Dr.Hodge

THE BIGGEST EGOTISTICAL PRICK.....

I BELIEVE THIS DOCTOR SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED AND REMOVED FROM THE MEDICAL FIELD....

As soon as Hodge walked in the door he was more worried about his bow tie being strait & the wrinkles in his pants then looking me in my eyes & shaking my hand. Then he proceeds 2 ask me why was I there. Well as I started 2 explain you could tell he wasn't interested in anything I was saying. Because he had 2 take his glasses off & clean them & he was smoothing out his jacket, he was looking around the room never made eye contact and never asked me any questions about what I was saying and how long these systems have been going on & how long they lasted for. After this Hodge check my vision & he was more concerned about it until I told him I had Lasik eye surgery. After that he check my reflexes and he said my reflexes in my right leg was abnormal & asked did I have any problems with my balance. Once again he wasn't concerned on what I had to say with my neck and my headaches. All he said was my herniated disc C5,C6 & C7 didn't need any attention & that I had a SYRINX behind C6. Hodge has referred me to have a MRI contrast done to rule out a tumor. Hodge never explained anything to me. He also said this isn't work related after Dr.Kocol has done stated it was.

After doing further research on SYRINX on my on. There are 2 kinds, 1st kind is that you are born.

THE 2nd KIND OF SYRINX HAPPENS AFTER AN INJURY, ACCIDENT OR TRAUMA 2 YOUR NECK OR SPINE. AND IT WILL BE PRESENT BEHIND THE INJURED AREA. WHICH IN MY CASE IT IS BEHIND C6.

THIS INFORMATION COMES FROM THE
NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF NEUROLOGICAL DISORDERS & STROKE.

I would recommend anyone who is going to this doctor to stay away from him, he will do nothing but make your situation worst, this doctor do not do enough research on your condition nor will be resolve your problem. The only thing this doctor will do is collect a quick pay check from the bad procedures he perform on you. This doctor is only out to get a pay check, I have no respect for this doctor at all, he need to have his license revoked and taken away for the pain he have cause people! BEWARE and STAY Away!!!
