No compassion, no bedside manner doesn't explain anything. Husband had glioblastoma he did biopsy which incision didn't heal he had to refer to another surgeon to fix his bad before treatment could begin 3 months after diagnosis. Told me I should just let nature take it's course and let him die. Very unprofessional and incompetent, biopsy was to take 4 hrs took 9 hrs. Please don't trust this so called surgeon.

My pain doc referred me to this guy(I should have shopped around first- Red flag- lesson learned). He did major back surgery on me as an Outpatient (Red flag) and two weeks later I couldn’t stand or walk and felt something dripping down my back. Went to hospital… staph infection diagnosed! HE had to do follow-up surgery (which I was VERY against), then to nursing home for 7 weeks (a worthless stay). My recommendation: DO NOT GO NEAR THIS GUY!

No empathy, no bedside manner. Did brain biopsy wound wouldn't heal only saw once after surgery incision became infected said he couldn't do anything about it was left gaping open almost a month following told he couldn't close it had to refer me to a plastic surgeon. Never saw again

He did herinated disk surgery on my neck 15 years ago, I have never got over it, pain everyday he would not help me any further as to what went wrong. I have had pain everyday. he does not listen, I would not ever recommend anyone to him. He is aragonitic, Dangerous, like he operated got my money now he is thru with you..

Do not recommend. Operated on my neck and caused vocal chord paralysis and aspiration. He refused to admit fault and refused to refer me to another neurosurgeon for help. Researched Myself and found a wonderful surgeon at Vanderbilt University in Nashville who performed a sylastic block to give me a voice, however weak due to permanent paralysis caused by Bucci.

I would advise everyone get a second opinion. I was told that I would end up paralyzed if I didn't get spinal fusion done soon.
I feel worse than before, and they all said I would do better after the surgery. DON'T believe that! I don't think I'll ever be the same again.

Dr. Bucci did my neck surgery in 1990 and I came out fine. I just had back surgery this year and he was as nice as he could be. I haven't had any problems and it's been 5 months. I wouldn't trust anybody but Dr. Bucci with my spine. He won't perform surgery unless it's absolutely necessary. Both times with me, it was very bad and he fixed it.

Same as other replies. Don't waste your time with this very unpleasant miserable individual. If you don't feel bad when you get there you will when you leave. He will not take anything that is not so simple he can ace it with little effort. Total waste of time he should consider retirement.

After a two hour wait, he spent less than three minutes with me just to tell me there was nothing he could do and I would have to learn to live with my pain for the rest of my life. He was very arrogant and self centered. Would never recommend him for anything. I have actually talked people out of seeing him.
