Terrible doctor and staff!! I saw Dr Bernard for a year and a half to see if I could get to the root of my hypothyroid. Started out feeling listened to but then made my follow up appointment and it was moved back 6 times by her staff. I finally was able to get blood work done for the beginning of 2015 and my appointment was moved again. I called the office to see if I could at least get my meds filled till then called to move my appointment again and was rudely told by Sue, the triage nurse "We haven't seen you in a year and a half. You're not a priority patient and from now on you need to see a general practitioner for this little problem of yours!" Completely unprofessional!! They have no regard for their patients. Needless to say when they called to move my appointment again 2 weeks ago I told them to just cancel it.

NOT HAPPY, I HAD BEEN SEEING DR. BERNARD WHO SAID SHE COULD HELP ME WITH A THYROID ISSUE. I LEFT MY PRIMARY DR. TO FIND A SPECIALIST, AND AFTER 6 MONTHS NOTHING HAD CHANGED. NO WEIGHT LOSS, HAIR GROWTH, I STARTED WITH 2 SYMPTOMS, AND ENDED UP WITH 40, EACH TIME I WOULD COME INTO HER OFFICE IN TEARS, I WAS HAVING HEART PALPITATIONS, UNABLE TO SLEEP, I WOULD'NT EAT BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO GAIN ANYMORE WEIGHT. SHE WOULD TELL ME YOUR NUMBERS ARE WHERE I WANT THEM. I WAS AT MY BREAKING POINT LAST TIME I SAW HER, SHE ORDERED A CORTISOL TEST AND SAID SHE WOULD BE OUT OF THE OFFICE FOR 2 WEEKS ON VACATION.(AS I SAID I WAS AT A BREAKING POINT) I RECEIVED A CALL FROM ANOTHER THYROID DR. I HAD CALLED 6 MONTHS PRIOR WHEN I WAS INTERVIEWING DOCTORS FOR MY LOW THYROID, AND EXPLAINED WHAT WAS GOING ON, HE ASKED TO SEE MY RECORDS (I CALLED DR. BERNARD OFFICE TO HAVE THEM FAXED) SO HE COULD REVIEW THEM. HE CALL ME A WEEK LATER & SAID HE REALLY THOUGHT HE COULD HELP ME. TO DATE SHE HAS NEVER CALLED ME

She is a very understanding and attentive. She listens and truly cares. Every diabetic is different and she understands that fact and helps you get a plan that works for you and helps you understand why she is recommending, pros and cons. Thats unique in today's world.

Knows her stuff and can explain it to you. Not in rush to get you out the door. Really a nice doctor and person.
