He is a good hearted person and corrects sleep apnea but is not concerned about straightening teeth.

My Daughter saw DDS Miller for close to 9 years in order to deal with the straightening of her 2 eye teeth. DDS Miller charged a large, but somewhat reasonable up-front fee of $6,000 and a monthly fee of $275 (which did make us a bit nervous). We knew that the process would take a few years to reach completion but had no idea it would last over 9 years before we eventually terminated his services. It was extremely difficult to make appointments with DDS miller at either of his offices which lead to appointments only 1-2 times per month. He rarely listened to our daughter's feedback which created a tense atmosphere for everyone involved. DDS Miller refused to work on more than one problem at a time which lead to this relationship continuing for many more years than necessary; the monthly fee never stopped and lead us to believe that he was purposely extending the treatment. During the time we saw DDS Miller, several other patients mentioned to us their similar feelings but we stayed with Dr. Miller hopeful that the end was near. However, with our daughter about to enter college we decided to cut our losses and retain a more reputable dentist even though we had to pay another up-front fee. This ended up being the worst medical/dental situation I have ever experienced in over 50 years. DDS Miller is an egomaniac; all he wants to hear is how great he is in spite of his suspect results. The only reason we decided not to start a legal proceeding is because we knew how difficult it would be to prove his malpractice in NYS. We highly recommend that you avoid DDS Miller's services at any cost. His antiquated methods are far surpassed by many dentists in and around Long Island.

We spent around 10000$ and wasted 2 years. Now we decided to go somewhere else. Dr. Couldn't estimate treatment time so it could be another 2 it more years.

Dr. Miller is an extremely caring orthodontist that develops a wonderful rapport with his young patients. He not only aligned my daughter’s teeth but due to his expertise in using rapid palatal expansion , she not only breaths better and sleep more rest full , she has also improved in her academic performance. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Miller treated my daughter several years ago, and treatment took way too long. Another orthodontist would probably have taken much shorte time.

Dr. Miller used an expander on my child and I believe extended the treatment for a much longer period than was necessary because he gets paid monthly. The expansion of the upper jaw took about two weeks and then the patient must wait six weeks for the expanded jaw to set. Following this period, he made a wire expander for the lower jaw and continued to treat my child for another year. When I realized that the lower jaw cannot be expanded, I approached Dr. Miller who responded in a very rude manner.

Dr. Miller is a horrible professional. He took 2 and a half years to finish a process that would take any other orthodontist half a year. After an operation, his job was to pull down two of my canines that were high up in my gum. He took 3 weeks to develop an x-ray, it takes 30 minutes max. He never answered any questions, for example I would ask, "Dr. Miller are the teeth moving?" and he would say, "Well lets keep our fingers crossed!" When I eventually got tired of crossing my fingers, and the left tooth came down, I went for a consultation, and it was pointed out quite obviously that I had an ankylotic tooth - a tooth fused to the bone - something Dr. Miller should have been able to identify after half a year of treatment. Because we payed per month, he literally stole our money, got barely anything done, and was unhelpful in every situation.
