Stay away from her. She orders tests and then doesn't review them. She orders ultrasounds and transversal ultrasounds. Then she gives diagnosis that is different from what was found. I got a second opinion and found that the ultrasound was correct and she was wrong. She was going to do more testing and surgeries for no reason.

Dr. Ford is welcoming and a great doctor. She is personable and patient.

Dr Ford is a great doctor. I would highly recommmend her. She is compassionate, knowledgeable and confident and was a great help to me during my last pregnancy. She truly cares about her patients and has great follow up.

I have used Dr. Ford and this entire practice for both of my babies pregnancies and deliveries. Dr. Ford is the absolute best! I enjoyed all the personnel there! I also loved meeting the rest of the doctors as well since they wanted you to be prepared in case one wasn't there. Which incidentally was the case with both of my deliveries! (On that note, I also highly recommend Dr. Embry (sp)) I loved every experience there, and even though I moved an hour away during my second child, I still refused to go anywhere else.

Continued and correction on my last rating: : I expressed a lack of confidence regarding Rush Copley to nurse Pam. The lack of confidence was due my lack of knowledge of Rush Copley. I changed my view on this and was ready to have my procedure there with Dr Ford. Now, I regret asking her to keep me as a patient. I have terrific insurance and have already found an incredible doctor in the area. He and his nurse were extremely compassionate about my condition right now. I regret not finding him earlier and protecting myself from such unprofessionalism and lack of compassion.

Very Disappointed. I had a second opinion last week and ended up having a procedure done at Edward hospital with this other doctor. During the procedure, this other doctor accidently cut my bladder and was unable to remove the polyp on my uterus. I went home with a catheter and in pain. Mistakes happen so I wasn't angry at the doctor, but decided to go back to Dr. Ford. I left a message for her nurse Pam when I got home explaining what happened. Nurse Pam seemed very cold when she returned my call the next day and expressed that she wasn't sure Dr. Ford would take me back as a patient because I expressed hesitation about having the procedure done at Rush Copley. I'm pretty new to town and many friends have had procedures at Edward. At this time I was ready to have it a Rush Copley. After speaking to the nurse, I wrote Dr. Ford a nice message on MyChart expressing I made a mistake and hoped she would remain my doctor. The next day as I'm wearing my catheter and hopeful for a welcoming call, I get a very cold message from nurse Pam stating that Dr Ford refused to see me again because of my lack of confidence I expressed once in a phone call with nurse Pam. Their lack of compassion and unprofessionalism was uncalled for.

Very professional, yet personable, makes you feel very comfortable. Extremely knowledgeable and gives you the over all sense that she is concerned about you and that you are not just one of hundreds of other patients.
