Terrible bedside manner Preformed surgery on me left me for dead

I love Dr. Motycka but since my procedure I have been unable to get a regular well appt with her. I love that she is honest and direct.

Julie is a great doctor! She made my miscarriage somewhat easier to deal with. She's caring without being over bearing. She doesn't sugar coat what is going on. Her staff followed up and made sure I was doing okay physically and mentally. They also offered to write any sort of doctor's note if I needed extra time off of work. Julie and her team are awesome!

Dr Motekya has been my ob dr for about 15 yrs, she is very informed and willing to listen to my ideas and questions, she has always been pleasant and takes the time to listen.

As others have said, Dr. Motycka is blunt. Other then that, she is extremely compassionate and always takes the time to answer any questions I may have. She is also very knowledgable in her area. I wouldn't see anyone else. Love her!

Dr. Motycka squeezed me in when my Dr was called to emergency surgery. Yes her words were blunt & she tells it like it is. But she was very concern & took very good care of me. I found I need surgery & though I told her Im stickng with my own ob gyn, Motycka still took excellent care, going out of her way to see I was stable enough to wait. If my own Dr doesnt want to do the the surgery, I want Motycka to do it, as Im confidant she will go out of her way to take care of me. Either way, Im in good hands.

I had my annual well woman exam and two days later, I GOT A UTI from it! I haven't had a Urinary Tract Infection in years and felt incredibly uncomfortable since after she examined my pelvis and it never went away --hence the UTI. She also said while examining my breasts, "Your breasts look very deflated. Did you breastfeed?" What kind of question is that? Her words were unkind and unnecessary and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I felt worse when I left. The office was easy enough to find. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed.

I have been a patient of Dr Motyka's for over 10 years and have nothing but good things to say about her. She has always squeezed my in at the last minute when I'm having a problem. She is also now the Dr for my 2 daughters and I trust her completely with our health issues. She has taken great care of all of us every time we have needed her. She is so compassionate and caring, yet very straight forward. I love Dr Motyka!
