13NOV2019 - 10AM. I just walked of this office and will no longer be a patient. I've been a patient since ~2009 and the Dr. Nguyen is wonderful, gentle, thoughtful. However her staff has taken a sudden decline. I did not realize how important the staff interaction is, but the current front desk clerk was unprofessional, rude, belligerent, and confrontational. I do not want to face him again and also worry about all my personal information being available to him. I would love to return when she replaces him. Please reach out to me when this happens, if you can identify me by my appointment and time.

I don’t know how these people are still in business. Their incompetence is mind boggling . They put a crown on my tooth that fell 6 months later and they destroyed my mom’s front tooth by putting black filling, worse than the Middle Ages!

She can be brutal. Especially toeards men. She used my husbands jaw as leverage to pry a tooth out. He was sore for a week.

I have had nothing short of a wonderful experience with Dr. Nguyen and her staff. They are awesome. Dr. Cindy has helped me regain my smile and my outlook on a new career.

Horrible experience with Dr. Cindy Nguyen's office. I have insurance through Dominion and I called her office and provided all information they needed. They said they participate with my insurance and all is good and set an appointment for me come in for a day in the following week.

One day before my appointment they call me and tell me they don't participate with insurance. I felt totally disrespected as a new patient!! I had made plans and arrangements to come in!!

I DO NOT recommend Dr. Cindy's office! They are unprofessional and inconsiderate towards their customers.

My dentist retired and needing dental work I went online looking for one. I came across Dr. Cindy Nguyen who had numerous 5 star ratings and decided to call for an appointment. The staff was very kind and professional and the office was clean and high tech. Dr. Nguyen is a very kind, knowledgeable, compassionate and above all patient dentist. After coming up with a treatment plan Dr. Nguyen took the time to fully explain the procedures and answered all my questions. The first phase of the plan was the most involved and being anxious about any dental work was given the option of nitrous oxide to calm me. It was the best dental experience I've had and I've had many!! There are still more procedures planned but with Dr. Nguyen's patience and skill I know all will go well. I would highly recommend Dr. Nguyen to anyone looking for a great dentist!!!

Went to her. After waiting for more than 30+ minutes ,I am taken in and some assistant starts the cleaning with polishing and floss. I tell her I find it odd, but she told me every office has different procedures. Then I am waiting endlessly and the dentist shows up. She said "Oh she (assistant) has cleaned your teeth and I am going to clean a "Little bit" more. I was not sure what to make out of this comment. She used some big wand and was done in 5 minutes. She told me that it is the new technology as opposed to the manual cleaning/scaling that I always got. New to VA and miss my previous dental practice in MD. I pointed out to her that I don't feel clean as I can still see a lot of plaque build up between my teeth and gum line. She was not ready to pay any attention and do anything manually. I was surprised that she was into financial too much and was able to quote me instantly the cost of future treatments that she said are needed.
In between I was just left for a long time not knowing what is next.
Since I was so surprised that the cleaning started with polishing and not any other real cleaning, I asked the same assistant if she has observed this in any other office. She told me this was her first. That made me a little nervous . Not sure about any credentials/experience of the person/assistant.
I regret going to her and would never go again to her. I am 55+ and have never experienced such crass service ever before. This is my first ever review, but felt very strongly to write it. Feeling sorry for myself.

Dr. N is a great dentist her office is always clean the staff is helpful and she is the most understanding dentist ive ever been too because believe me the dentist isnt my favorite place to go but she makes it worth it every time thank you Dr N! from happy patient Brit J

Dr. Cindy Nguyen is a gifted dentist. As her patient, I am very grateful she has decided to use her talents in dentistry. I have had issues and contraindications with previous dental work, and she has helped me tremendously. I recommend Dr Nguyen for her abilities and knowledge in dentistry, her professionalism, and efforts to help her patients. I don't know now to articulate her skills as being a dentist, but perhaps an easy example is: when I had both my top and bottom jaw numb at the same time, no droopiness and I could talk and drink water just fine ;). Small example, but Dr Nguyen really seems to know just what is happening medically, listens very well and consistently resolves the issues. Everyone has different responses and circumstances but in my experience, she has definitely demonstrated her talents. Dr Nguyen is efficient, reliable and knowledgeable. Her attention to detail and support in my dental work has been wonderful. Staff is professional, patient & knowledgeable too!!
