Found Dr. Mahboobi and staff VERY supportive. My wife and I have already recommended the center to a close friend who has already used the services.

I was diagnosed with a Lumbar herniated disc and was sent to the Orthopedic Spine doctors in Fredericksburg VA. close to where i live. My appointment was at 10:20 and once I arrived the receptionist called another staff member to the window and said, "Miss your appointment was at 10:20 but you was supposed to be here 30 minutes early prior to your appointment, we will need to reschedule you". I was bent over and in a great deal of pain. I said, "Miss i am in a great deal of pain and need to see a doctor now, and i was not told that i needed to be here 30 min before my initial appointment". The receptionist staff stood there to argue with me with no compassion to my condition and was refusing to let me see a the doctor. Well, long story short, i finally got to see the doctor and the doctor forgot to send an order to the imagining center for further evaluation of my condition which posed another problem with Fredericksburg Orthopedics Center in Spotsylvania County. I would not recommend these doctors to work on my dog or cat. After this bad ordeal, I had to search around for a preferred doctor and found Dr. Mahboobi. The staff was exceptionally kind, helpful, and would go out there way to assist the patient, which lead me to think that i was in the right place. Once i met Dr. Mahboobi then I knew that i was in the right place. He was absolutely wonderful, professionally and knowledgeable. He knew his job and exactly how to treat me, medically and personally. If you are looking for a good doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Mahboobi for pain. "Jerine Coley"

I am an elderly man suffering with chronic severe pain from arthritic conditions in my spine and hips. Dr. Mahboobi took over the pain management practice from a wonderful doctor I was seeing. My first (and only) appointment with Mahboobi was just last week. It had to be the most upsetting meeting I've ever had with a physician. He asked me not a single question about myself and health condition. He immediately launched into the dangers of opiates; the prevalence of "doctor shopping"; the physical dangers of abusing opiates; the VA state regulations regarding the prescribing of opiates and on and on. He was disinterested in me as a new patient and solely interested in ascertaining whether or not I was an 86 year old drug addict. I tried to assure him I wasn't as did my wife. He was as obnoxious with her as he was with me. A physician who is so spooked when prescribing opiates should find himself a new specialty.
