This is the best family doctor I have been to in all my years in the area. In their family-oriented practice, I have gone to Dr. Gittenger for years now as she is personable, extensively listens to my health concerns, and provides targeted aid or referrals (orthopedic, blood pressure, general wellness). Follow-up after referrals was superb. Solid, welcoming staff (unlike other offices I have been). Eventually, the wife needed a new primary, then brought the kids over, meaning the entire family has been absolutely pleased with medical aid and we do Not want to see any other primary care physician. One of my kids, now an adult, has gone to other primary care doctors and is in the process of switching back to Dr. Gittenger. Amazing Doctor.

Dr. G IS THE best doctor ever! She takes her time with you and really cares how you are doing. She has treated my whole family including my father, mother, sister and husband. I drive 45 minutes just to keep her as my doctor.

I had been searching for a new doctor for a while, came across this office. Read the reviews and figured I would give her a chance and see what I got. I called the office and the line kept ringing busy. When I finally was able to get a hold of someone the lady told me my appt wouldn't be for about another month due to the fact they had so much going on. VERY rude lady and didn't see anything wrong with telling a potential new client that things were to busy to see if they had any earlier openings.

Yet again I show up for an appointment that was scheduled a week ago only to sit in her waiting room for an hour before one of the two ladies using the appointment book as an arm rest, instead of its instead purpose, to look and see that I was one not scheduled and that two they didn't have a record pulled for me clues that any competent clerk would pick up on as something they should address. If this were the 1st or 2nd time this had happened I would brush it off yet again but, it's not. Compounded with this today I inquired why multiple faxed requests for medication for my daughter were ignored, because I called & followed-up & was told it would be done and now going on 6 weeks with no medication I wanted face-to-face answers. "Ummm I don't know, your going to have to talk to the doctor about that and we can't squeeze you in for awhile." This means another 1-2 hours & that was the point of me coming here??? She is a nice lady but, unorganized and needs to get a real staff.

Dr. G is a great, she has never rushed me and has called me at home to go over test results. I am changing Doctors because of location not any other reason. She is a genuine good person and definitely not a money grabber. Probably the person that made that allegation should go back to the east coast.

Had two appointments with her. She was extremely late both times, stepping out for cell phone calls during the visit and interrupted by staff knocking. Very scattered, flustered. Office run poorly. Called me back in to go over labs that were normal. Completely disrespectful of my valuable time and she did not display any amount of knowledge that would impress me. I am not going back.

Dr Gittinger is by far the most caring Doctor I have ever met. Our entire Family sees her for all of our medical needs.Her office staff including her Mother are wonderful to all of us. I HIGHLY recommend her to everyone. She is very patient with us, She has never rushed us out of the office because she has other patients waiting for her. We adore her and she sees our 11 yr old daughter as well as my Husband and I .

Not comfortable with her level of medical knowlege. Ran out of my medication. She said she would call in and did not. Tried to come in for appt but found staff rude and unaccomidating.
