I felt dismissed during the breakdown of my symptoms with Dr. Angemi. He was quick to diagnose me, but the diagnosis was unrelated to all of the symptoms I was having. When I denied the diagnosis, he proceeded to tell me he had 20 years of experience in the field. I tried to explain my symptoms and he condescendingly asked me what I thought my diagnosis should be. I explained that I was unsure but that I knew his initial diagnosis was wrong. He sent out for a few more tests, that came back clear, so he decided to adhere to his initial diagnosis and sent me home. I was released from the ER with no treatment and with my pain and symptoms being ignored. My encounter with this doctor was extremely infuriating as his God complex impedes him from truly caring from his patients.

Dr Angemi was very late, indifferent, and kept telling me his lack of knowledge how to treat a basic problem, a distended toenail. He didn't even clean the wound. He kept excusing himself, "I'm just an ER doctor." Lousy.

This DO missed a Dx of Pulmonary Emboli, both lung fields. Next day @ another hosp, I am admitted via ER. The hematologist said to me: By coming in to ER the following day ( at Torrance Memorial) " you saved yourself". Thanks Dr Christopher Jason Angemi.

I would like to state that he is very un compassionate. I went to the ER with seizures and my husband told me the nurse called me and not one he came to see me. /then he said i did not have seizures , when that is not his specialty and based on reports from other doctors. He told me i could not tell him how to practice , ehre i just wanted my quality of life. That i shy i do . I am trainned to provide Palliative Care . I hope he does not treat any of his family members like that!!!! O compassion and i hoe you read this!!!!

This ER doctor was unhelpful from the get go. My wife was having seizures, and he said that those were not seizures and completely disregarded my calls when my wife had two more seizures. His overall attitude was uncompassionate and arrogant know it all type. May be he is knowledgeable, but needs major compassionate care training and eat some humble pie. This guy thinks is God...
