Addendum to my July 20, 2023 review as I cannot seem to delete it: Paperwork from Dr Olson has been received by OWCP which is federal workers comp. Those in the Workers Comp Department of Essentia were, for some reason, providing information from/to state workers comp rather than federal which resulted in things going through the wrong department, and the wrong workers comp, and the wrong insurance etc. Dr Olson was just doing the forms he was provided and working very hard at trying to get things done correctly. OWCP is extremely confusing and completely different than state worker's comp. After much work Dr Olson was able to get things corrected for which I am grateful.

Three out of the three visits I've had with him he's been late- two of which by more than half an hour. He seems knowledgeable, enough, but he will absolutely not give you a straight answer no matter what or how many times you ask him. He is constantly dancing around facts and changing what he is saying, which makes it very unclear and confusing. (Example: he told me I can walk on my healing foot and it would still heal alright, but he wouldn't recommend it and the injuries are very significant, but try walking by the next appointment). Not a good provider to see if you're looking for any sort of straight answers.

Worst doctor ever multiple surgeries in clinic surgeries along with infections. Finally had to get referred to a specialist in the Twin Cities where there’s more damage than there was good for a man doing my surgeries

Somewhat indifferent and distracted. I made multiple folloups got tired with the half work. Switched doctors in the end. I hope for his best but there is something lacking.
