Biography

Holly Yettaw Luts, MD, FACOG, is Residency Site Director at Montefiore and Assistant Professor at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Yettaw Luts’ clinical focus is on minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.In 2003, Dr. Yettaw Luts graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in biomedical sciences from Western Michigan University. She went on to Wayne State University School of Medicine, earning her Doctor of Medicine in 2007. For her postdoctoral training, she continued at Wayne State University and Detroit Medical Center, completing a four-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology in 2011. Dr. Yettaw Luts then came to Montefiore-Einstein, completing a two-year fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery in 2013.Dr. Yettaw Luts’ research focuses on quality improvement and enhanced recovery after surgery, as well as surgical mentorship and health equity. Her research findings have been published in reviewed journals as well as many abstracts and poster presentations.Dr. Yettaw Luts is board certified and is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
