I needed unexpected carpal tunnel surgery. Dr. Katz was highly recommended, and I was not disappointed. Starting from his office check in procedure and ending with his post op review I was extremely pleased. Knowledgeable, articulate, personable, efficient.....and quality surgery. I hope I never need additional surgery, but if I do I will not hesitate to use Dr. Katz.

I recently had Carpal Tunnel surgery on both hands at the same time, and chose to have the "awake surgery" done by Dr. Katz, which involves injecting Lidocaine & epinephrine" in each hand about 20 minutes before the surgery,, I chose this as I did not want to have IV sedation, I would highly recommend this, as the only discomfort I initially felt,was the stick to numb my hands, after that same surgery was done while I was awake without any pain or discomfort, Dr. Katz told me what was happening and proceeding with the other hand. I would highly recommend him and this awake surgery, the staff and the entire experience was great,

I would highly recommend Dr. Katz. He performed carpal tunnel surgery on both of my hands and both elbows with great success. He took time to answer all questions and is very caring and friendly.

Dr. Katz is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He successfully performed my bilateral carpal tunnel surgery and I am now functioning normally with my hands. I had suffered from carpel tunnel in both hands for years (not knowing what it was). I had painful burning in both hands from holding objects and it would also wake me up at night. The surgery was painless and very quick to heal, I was at work the very next day. I had both surgeries done at the Athens Clinic and both doctor and staff couldn't have been nicer. If you have a problem like mine, don't wait...with Dr. Katz you are in great hands.
