Biography

Dr. Hataya Kristy Poonyagariyagorn earned her medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in Bronx, NY. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Cleveland Clinic and her Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and in Pulmonary Diseases. She is the Medical Director of Providence Medical ICU and Respiratory Therapy Department of Providence Newberg Medical Center, and is the Associate Program Director of Providence St. Vincent Internal Medicine Residency Program. Her areas of clinical interest include COPD and pulmonary hypertension.
