Dr. Walczak is very vapid and not attentive during visits. First of all she came into the room calling my child the wrong name, and then during the visit she asked the same questions multiple times and I got the sense she wasn't paying attention as she kept looking at her phone. She also wasn't nice to the staff. I heard her berating the MA's outside the room, which is unprofessional and upsetting when it is near the patients.

Dr. Rose M. Walczak's response
I believe you have confused me with another provider. As a hospitalist, I only care for hospitalized children so I do not have appointments, an office, or an MA.

I felt the opposite of the last poster My child and I had a great experience. Dr. Walczak was very friendly and seemed to care about her work and us. She seemed very knowledgeable and took the time to explain things to us. I would definitely take my child to see her again.

Thank you for your kind words. I am always happy to see patients I have met previously. I hope for your child’s sake that you won’t have to deal with another hospitalization, but I would be happy to be your hospitalist if you do.

I have been going there since my daughter was born 9 months ago. My experiences leave so much to be desired. Dr. Walczak seems like she is there to get a paycheck and that's all. She rushes in and rushes out. It's always a very cold experience. Now, I am not lookin for hugs, but wow- it was unpleasant. Every time she walks out I think to myself- why are you in this position, you obviously aren't passionate about my child's health. And I assume many others feel the same way

Dr. Rose M. Walczak's response
I believe you may have confused me with another provider. As a hospitalist, I only care for hospitalized children so I do not have appointments nor an office. If I did see your child, I am sorry she has had to be hospitalized multiple times in her first 9 months of life. It would be highly unlikely that I was her hospitalist every time because with 24/7 coverage, you be assigned to whomever was working each time.
