She killed me and she did put me back to life! After a prolonged labor, she gave instructions for an emergency csection. She removed the baby safely. After that, she moved me to the recovery room where I started having intensive bleeding. Color turned gray, high temperature high fever. My husband was begging the nurses to call her back. She came and admitted me to another surgery. Which ended by me at the ICU, having blood transfusion and under special monitoring. To date we don’t know what happened at the OR! The report was dictated 8 days after the surgery and has false information. Irresponsible practice! Unprofessional doctors! I had a nightmare which I’m still living to date and praying to god that I can have another baby and that my uterus is going to be fine!

She was a very kind and careing doctor. I got sick during a procedure and she talked to me and made me feel comfprtable. She was constantly checking on me and asked me if there was anything to do to make me feel more comfortable. I would recommend her to anyone.

I had a concern about the prescription she was offering. Instead of being sensitive to what I was a really looking for (a cost-effective medication), she argued with me for quite some time about how I should just go with the name brand (more expensive) medication. Perhaps she was having a bad day, but to be honest, the GYN's office is already uncomfortable enough. I called later to inquire about my prescription and was told that the pharmacy had been provided with my prescription info so that I could pick up the medication. I then called the pharmacy, who informed me that there had been no call at all from Dr. Finch's office. I tried to call Finch back, just before 4pm (on a Wednesday) and the office was closed. I was told by the answering service that the office would not be accepting any voicemails unless I had an emergency. I felt completely ignored and would not advise anyone to risk having that experience.

I had a very early miscarriage a few months ago and the staff and doctors at Andover OBGYN managed to make a terrible experience much, much worse. They did not know/tell me that I would have to be escorted to the Maternity Ward at Lawrence General Hospital to get a shot. When I had a follow up appointment, Dr Finch took no responsibility whatsoever for them not informing me of the details, she never told me what to expect in follow up appointments and seemed genuinely annoyed that I was upset. " How would we know what you would have to go to the maternity ward" "Why should we know that" were things she said to me. She also kept asking me over the next few weeks repeatedly-more than twice- if she could write me an RX for birth control. Dr. Finch's bedside manner is despicable-I catch myself thinking about it often. The worst part is that the way she and Haverhill Andover OBGYN handled my situation will haunt me if I'm ever lucky enough to conceive again.
