I needed emergency surgery to repair a torn retina in June of 2018. Dr. Mandiga accepted my medicaid insurance! So many others in the Seattle area would not. He truly cares about his patients and their eyes. He is a real human being. Again, I needed surgery in January of 2020. I now had work insurance and was so thankful he could help me again. Great doc and person!

Dr. Mandiga truly cares about his patients. He was the doctor that realized I had swelling in my optic nerve that indicated increased intracranial pressure. I ended up being diagnosed with pseudotumor cerebri and this was after five years of several doctors including other eye doctors, neuro ophthalmologists, and neurologists told me that nothing was wrong with me and I just had migraines. Thanks to Dr. Mandiga going above and beyond to get me to the right doctors and the right diagnosis, I have been able to receive the appropriate treatment. Dr. Mandiga saved my quality of life! He is a very talented, caring and wonderful retina specialist. I highly recommend him to anyone.
