Really pushes surgery. I felt I was rushed through my appointment and my concerns about causes of my symptoms other than the physiology were ignored. He recommended an author whose advice contradicted the treatment plan I was on for acid reflux so I left my appointment feeling lost.

Good ent doctor but he bedside mannar was NOT good

I was referred to Dr. Arman Abdalkhani by another ENT and received an appointment date for February 2022. I then received an e-mail a few days later notifying me that this appointment had been cancelled, with no explanation as to why. I then contacted his office via e-mail, and received a response back stat ing that Dr. Abdalkhani was recommending I see a different ENT - Dr. Manarey - who I'd seen years ago and who has terrible bedside manner. The fact that Dr. Abdalkhani's office didn't even bother to notify me of any of this and simply did this on their own volition is not great service. Now, I am seemingly left with the breathing issue I have since no one else apparently wants to deal with it and would rather bounce me around from person to person.

Definitely not what I had hoped for in an ENT. Llike previous reviews he seems knowledgeable about the anatomy but didn’t really listen to what my issues were It was a struggle to get a word in edgewise. Every visit was months apart and there never seemed to be any progress. Eventually he seemed unable to do anything for me and tried to refer me to another ENT …..in Surrey (I live in DT Vancouver). All in all a colossal waste of time and I can’t recommend.

I took my son to see Dr. Abdalkhani and found him to be very professional and personable. He was very thorough, knowledgeable and empathic. We would definitely recommend him to others.

Do not waste your time to visit. Does not listen to what you are saying and gives you no helpful advice. Tells you that your anatomy is what it is and that you just have to live with it. What kind of a doctor or med school would treat patients this way. I am sure he is not a evil human being but you are better off getting advice from a monkey with a bottle of Motrin.

I have been in Canada for 17 years, never seen such positive Customer Service (thanks Sherry!) and such knowledgeable , kind and attentive doctor . Thank you very much. I was having a GERD induced coughing problem and he directed me to correct tests. Even his interest made me already breathe more easily. highly recommended !!

My first visit to an ENT specialist for long-standing tinnitus. Dr. Abdalkhani took time to listen and explained everything as he went along in his exam. He then explained possible options and proposed a plan. I could not have asked for better and more thorough. All this and he didn't seem rushed. Kudos to him and his staff.
