Pleasant personality. Very poor diagnostician. What good is s nice doctor who knows very little and even missed a problem when pointed out to him?

Any other pediatrician would have dismissed the lower back ache that came and went in my 20 yr old daughter - would've told her to take some advil and use heat and or ice. However, Dr. Schwartz treated it seriously and urged us to see a pediatric orthopedist. P.S. It turned out she had two large tumors taking up most of her pelvic region!! He called me labor day night with the MRI report and made calls the next morning to link me up with an excellent surgeon. Dr. Schwartz is super knowledgeable, kind and caring.

My family has used Dr. Schwartz for 25 years. My youngest still goes to him. He is very caring and kind as well as very thorough.

Wonderful doctor and staff, tremendous knowledge base and demeanor. Can always get an appointment but wait time is a major issue.

Dr. Schwartz is amazing. He was recommended to me by a friend who said her extended family has used him for years. I can see why. We drive from Shoreham to East Setauket to see him. He really seems to care and the reason he is not always on time is because he will never rush you. He will even call you at home to check up on your child! Dr. Schwartz is wonderful... I only wish he was a little closer to us :)

My son is almost 6, and we have been through 5 doctors. Dr. Schwartz is kind hearted, patient and very thorough. My son adores him!

Dr Schwartz is the BEST Pediatrician. We have been with him for 13 years. I have a child that went through difficult times. Asthma, allergies, immune system issues, etc. He is so knowledged, caring and his expertise is second to none. I am so thankful we have him. Diane is great too.
