Dr. Hulstrand was great at the beginning of my pregnancy but, after a screening he claimed my baby had a bad birth defect and might die in the first year. He said all this with a huge smile on his face, sent me to a specialist and they cleared me and told me everything was fine, the next appt Dr. Hulstrand DROPPED me as a patient ,claiming the specialist recommended weekly scans and he simply didn't have the time. Now I am 7 months along with no OB. I then called the specialist and they said they didn't recommend any scans at all. This was a lie he told me just to get rid of me as a patient.
This man is very unprofessional and will tell you anything with a smile on his face! Do not trust him!

I feel this doctor is an amazing doctor and always smiling. But he lacks experience and confidence in himself. He also is not good at communicating with his patients. In office visits are quick, easy, and you have his attention, but if you have any issues after your appointment, I can not stress enough how much you can not and will not, no matter what, be able to speak with him. It is very frustrating when you trust your doctor and are in pain or sick during pregnancy and you can not reach your doctor for weeks at a time, unless you make an appointment. I have had to drive to his office just to speak with him, and he still did not, on two different occasions, come out to see me. This shows me the lack of care from him toward my health and over all well-being. Office manager is amazing and sweet. His nurses are great. I spent a year in love with doctor Hultstrand, adored his smile, attitude, friendliness, patience and easy. That is until I needed him most and could not reach him. He failed me and instead of apologizing, I got all the reasons why it wasn't his fault, it was confusion between people and how he was uncomfortable that I got so upset about feeling insecure in a time of me needing him. He chose not to deliver my child at 38 weeks when no other doctor would accept me.

Dr. Hultstrand is a great doctor. Very knowledgeable and quick. I will say if you go to the ER. don't forget that his name has a t in it, Hultstrand, not Hulstrand... there is another female doctor with the name Hulstrand. Just clarifying that because it caused confusion. What a fabulous place. The nurses are kind and answer all of the questions that I needed answered.He is a quick and witty doctor and very informative. I would recommend him as a doctor.

He is Awesome! He did my postpartum check,I actually wish he was my Ob Doc for the entire pregnancy! He is very caring about his patience, actually takes the time to go over any questions or concerns you have. Didn't feel like I was being rushed through. It didn't take long to finally be seen, 15 -20 maybe, and Staff is really great! I definitely recommend him.
