DR, Devore, is, hands down, the best PCP in Sonoma county. I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Wm. Sullivan for 42 years before his retirement and I subsequently had the opportunity to become a patient of Dr. Devore. His "Bedside manner", knowledge, and caring attitude are just some of the qualities that I can offer to you about him. He treated me for a rather unusual problem that he took hold of like a bull dog and would not let go of until it was resolved. There aren't a lot of Doctors that will do that nowadays, they'll just shuffle you off to some specialist and be done with you. Not so with Dr. Devore. The man is caring, conscientious , and thorough. I cannot speak more highly of him and his quality of patient care.

Dr James DeVore is the best family doctor hands down. I know the doctor Devore very well and his staff probably longer than any of the other reviewers. The doctor and the staff have bent over backwards to help my family when so many other specialist have let us down left and right over the years. He is the best diagnostician. Dr DeVore is the most experienced doctor and has dealt with extraordinary rare conditions. He has been an advocate for my family.

I have been a patient of Dr. DeVore's for close to 20 years. He has been the best Dr. that I have ever had. He has a sixth sense about what it is that you may have and has a kind way of caring for you. I had to move away 4 years ago and I miss him dearly. I have not been able to find a Dr. that even comes close to his skills. He cares which is very hard to find these days.

Dr. Devore seems like a nice enough dr., but he was about 30 min late for my appointment. It can be tough to get an appointment, he seems to be gone a lot. His med. assistant is pretty abrasive and the office seems a bit in disarray. He does seem pretty knowledgeable and caring. I would recommend him, but he does not get a glowing recommendation.

Very friendly doctor with great bedside manner... Dr Devore failed to diagnose My sister and I, so I am hesitent to recommend. My sister had a tumor that he didn't check for since it was "unlikely" even though she had all the classic symptoms and I was never tested for Lymes even though I had the classic "bulls eye" rash. My sister was diagnosed quickly by another doctor and I was diagnosed much later. We are both fine now but we wish Dr Devore had been more aggresive in his testing on both of us.

Excellent doctor, knows patients personally, very friendly and patient.. so many thoughts are running through my head but I am just not finding the right words. Basically he is everything you would want your family doctor to be.
