Most importantly my daughters feel very comfortable. They don’t freak out. The Doctor is very gentle and caring. This completely keeps my girls at ease especially when getting a vaccine.

I have been going to this practice since my son was first born over 5 years prior. I have had visits with all three of the doctors, and have had great experiences with all of them. Each has been very caring, and spent more time than I would expect with me and my child. I have usually come with several questions and they have been able to answer them well. They have called after to check on my child and have always treated me like extended family. As a practicing physician myself, I have had the pleasure of knowing many pediatrician offices and would not choose any other office for the care of my children.

The doctors and nursing staff are great, but the receptionist sucks! She's rude and should be fired because she's a huge turnoff to the practice. Dr. Michaels, wake up...she needs to go!

I have really tried to like this practice since it's local but time and time again I am left with a bitter taste in my mouth and cannot gamble my children's well being. Dr. Michaels in particular, is harsh, cold, in compassionate, short, kurt, rude and slight arrogant. Not the qualities you want in a pediatrician. Maybe they can handle a common cold but anything beyond that, I would not trust their judgement! Oh, and the front office staff leave an even worse taste than Michaels! Shop around, you can do better.

We have used this practice for almost 3 years since my son was born. All three doctors are compassionate and knowledgeable and always on-time. We also received a follow-up call after a scary situation (extremely high fever & croup) to see how he was doing and if we needed to bring him back in. I would recommend this practice to any one and already have. We love all three doc's but tend to request Dr. Chu when she's available but Dr. Michales and Dr. G are just as good and my son loves all of them - He never freaks out when we have to go, they have always tried to make his routine check ups fun and sick appointments tolerable! I'm one happy mom thanks to them! As for Eve and Fran the two nurses they always answer questions right away and will contact you when you call the office if its an emergency - I have never encountered any rudeness when calling or coming to the office as stated in other responses.

There are three doctors in this practice. I usually stick with the same one for my child's checkups but I've seen all the doctors when my child has been sick. I can't say enough good things about all of the doctors in this practice. Dr. Michaels is fantastic and so are her associates Dr. Chu and Dr. G. They are compassionate and always answer all of my questions, and I have a lot of questions!

I hate to say this but I am glad I am not the only person who has noticed concerns with this practice. The doctors are pleasant as mentioned. But not as knowledgeable as I would want. Dr Chu seemed better able to attend to my child's needs and much more caring than Dr. Michaels, but I felt very uncomfortable most visits and the receptionist does not help! She is rude and, like one person noted, could care less about the patients, family or her job. In any business you don't want the impression to be a surly one as the person enters and exits. Or that the doctor doesn't know what they're doing, if in medicine. I do have to say the assistants were nice and helpful in contrast. While mostly my child was fine (not sick) the 9 months we used their services, it worried me if there were ever a major need what care if any we would receive - due to how I was treated from the start over feeding issues and the typical new mother concerns over whether my child was really ok or not.

We have been seeing Dr. Michaels and Dr. Chu at Milestones Pediatrics for three years and we love them. They are both extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They take the time to answer all of our questions and address all of our concerns. They've gotten to know our entire family and make us feel as though we are their most important patients. Their office staff and nurses are all extremely friendly and professional as well. We are moving but if we were staying in the area these doctors would be treating our children until they grew up and moved out.

I wouldn't rec. these dr.s to anyone! All 3 dr.s are friendly but their standard of care is BEYOND lacking. I brought my child into the office for a sick visit several times only to be told she is fine and and that nothing was wrong. I took her to a specialist the VERY NEXT DAY for a 2nd opinion. The dr heard her wheezing and she was diagnosed with asthma. He also saw fluid in her ear due to a sinus infection and prescribed antibiotics. A similar situation occured with my son. I brought my son in for a sick visit. He had a terrible cough and congestion. The dr gave him the all clear. I took my son to a specialist and was told that his cough was bad and it's dangerous for a baby that young to have a cough for an extended period of time. He was placed on antibiotics. I believe in conservative care and not placing children on antibiotics for every sniffle. However, in both circumstances med. was clearly necessary and all 3 dr.s were negligent. RUN, don't walk away from this practice!

The receptionist is horrific, and is often in the habit of trying to push you off the phone when you have simple questions. She does her best to make you feel unwelcome. Dr. Michaels is very kind, but is sort of aloof and didn't really listen to my concerns. I had a 2 week old who was not sleeping AT ALL, and Dr. Michaels said it was normal. Turns out she had an underlying medical condition, which Dr. Michaels missed. There are better doctors at this practice.
