Biography
Dr Peyman Mazidi BSC MBBS FRANZCOG FRCSC Obstetrician, Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist Dr Mazidi is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with additional training in Reproductive Medicine and infertility. He is known for his warm, caring nature and holistic approach to patient care. He is proud to be part of Nahal Fertility Centre. Dr Mazidi graduated with a Bachelor of Science from The University of Western Ontario and then completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Flinders University of South Australia in 2006. He trained in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital and Westmead Fertility Centre in Australia before returning to Canada. Dr Mazidi is board certified by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and The Royal college of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr Mazidi is committed to providing information and support pre conception as well as during early pregnancy and beyond. He is keenly interested in using evidence based medicine to tailor treatment to suit each individual’s or couple’s unique issues. He supports patients with difficulty conceiving due to health factors or age. Dr Mazidi’s practice interest include infertility treatments such as IUI, IVF, ICSI; recurrent pregnancy loss, early pregnancy assessment, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, fertility enhancing treatments, male factor infertility and treatments. Dr. Mazidi has a relaxed and approachable style. He has extensive experience in both Australia and Canada.

Please do yourself a favour and find another doctor to help you through the IVF journey. I almost went through IVF with dr Mazidi. All the investigations were centered on the female - I was OK, so let's do IVF. Only basic analysis on my husband... Then we moved, so I changed doctors. Only to find out it was my husband's DNA fragmentation that was high, test he had no idea to order... We have lost so much time and emotions with this doctor! A shame!
