My daughter was taken to CPEP recently and I had to go to CPEP to see what's going on with my daughter. Dr. Misir was very patient, professional, explained what's going on with his child, what my options are and what to expect. I would not want anybody to go to a ER, but if you have to , you need a doctor who is professional and does not rush you or brush you. Highly recommend her.

I had to take my daughter to the ER few weeks back and Dr. Misir saw my daughter and then spoke with me in detail regarding the options that's available for my daughter. She also asked the social workers to come and take to me about resources that's available for us. I would highly recommend her

Dr. Misir was my psychiatrist when I was admitted to the hospital. It was the lowest point in my life, admitted to the hospital after I had a bad break up. She was very empathic, nonjudgmental. Did family session with my family, answered all the questions we asked her. She made a referral for ketamine infusion to Rochester, which was life changing. Would recommend her.

My daughter has intellectual limitations and is on several medications. She hears voices . She can’t see properly. She refused to eat or drink. She was loosing weight. Dr. Misir diagnosed her right and told me she needs ECT. I was very hesitant and confused. Her staffs spoke highly of her . I am so glad that I gave them permission to do ECT. My daughter is now eating, drinking and back home . Can’t thank Dr. Misir and her staffs. One of the best . If somebody says can’t fix this , ask Dr. Misir for second opinion to see if ECT will help. The best .

Dr. Misir is one of the doctors who would listen to you, will not cut you off. She is not judgmental all. Will patiently explain to you about the medicines. I had a problem with alcohol. She started me on an injection which I take it every month and I got my family and life back.

She shouldn’t being helping people that are seeking mental health assistance. Her be side manner is absolutely terrible! She is condescending and demeaning. She’s a terrible shrink.

She told me to stop taking my medication because I asked her questions about my diagnosis and also told me that my questions were annoying her

This woman should not be allowed to practice medicine. She was not helpful in treating my depression and anxiety and was rude and demeaning to me and my family. Her condescending attitude caused me additional mental anguish. DO NOT go anywhere near this "Doctor".

She has little knowledge of brain and body chemistry and refused to treat me because she doesn't know how the amino acids that my neurologist recommended for MS work with psych meds. She said she WONT help me. She should lose her license to practice. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON HER!
